I paid twice! They said they accept Applepay and I did pay and it was taken out of my account and it said pending on my part and noting on their end. So they wanted me to pay a second time. Now I am disputing the first charge on my account. HOW IS A PROPERTY ALLOWED TO OPERATE WITH A SECOND STORY WITH NO ELEVATOR? Room is a standard room size; they put a table and a chair and called it a SUITE. The toilet paper is two ams-length away from the toilet. You almost have to stand up and walk to it.

Had fun! Love there pool! Will be back. Staff was great

The pool/hot tub is a nice area, but the pool was ice cold.

Justin at the front desk is very helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovations, we peaked in on a updated room and they look very nice and modern with a gray color scheme. The breakfast buffet is great, eggs, sausage, waffles, and more.

I live in Mass and return back to Lapeer every year and stay at this hotel. I actually love this hotel and it is the best night sleep I get for my entire trip. Thank you LEM

Stayed two nights. Great room. Clean. Quite. Staff was great. Accommodation. Attentive and super nice offering things we didn't know hotels would even do. Checked on us several times. Restaurant in hotel was just as awesome.

The room was a lot bigger than a standard double queen room. There was a sink with the microwave and fridge area, so it was more like a mini-kitchenette. The WiFi signal was very weak. When I called the desk, I was told no one else complained and I should call their customer service for internet. The WiFi never got fixed. We even saw guests sitting in common areas using the WiFi, instead of in their rooms. There was also no elevator to the 2nd floor, but no kitchenettes on the main floor.

Great location. Served our purpose. Enjoyed our stay.

We had to stay for a night because of a basketball tournament. The hotel was a bit outdated but overall very nice for the price. Good breakfast, very large room (king suite), and nice bar. We had a few drinks at Ted's which was very convenient and Rusty, our bartender, was really nice.

Simply needed a room for the night. Breakfast was much better than I had at competing hotels. It included cheese omelettes, biscuits and gravy, and ham as well as the usual fair, including waffles.

This is a very nice hotel with a friendly bar attached. I didn't eat there but the wings looked and smelled amazing and the bartenders friendly and conversational. I would not recommend the ginger ale (Jameson Gingers) it was flat and tasteless. The tender agreed it was not that great. Pool area looked nice when I walked thru but I did not swim. Breakfast was great! Waffle maker, great coffee, yogurt, juice, and be sure to try the sausage links and the biscuts and gravy! Very tasty. If I fly into Flint I will be staying there again.

Well for the price of the room I shouldn't have expected much more. My boyfriend and I laughed a lot at our suite. Don't get me wrong I understand I wasn't staying at some fancy hotel. But they had a magnabox TV from 1980 that was the first thing you saw when you entered the room. I mean honestly they need to just throw that out. But other than the out dated amenities It was a clean room good stay and not expensive. I think they were remodeling which will definitely help their ratings from future guests.

I traveled here for a school event with my daughter last spring. The location was perfect. Very close to where we were going, so that worked out great. The pool here was very nice. The staff was super friendly, and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. We will be returning to the area again soon, and I'm looking to book the same hotel again. It was also close to several stores and restaurants, and they have a wonderful theater just down the road. Really nice area, and we only wish we had been able to stay longer.

All was satisfactory, nothing outstanding. Regular motel. A bit pricey at that

Couldn't have asked for anything better. Our room was clean, the beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. We didn't have time to use the pool, but did check it out and loved the cool water fountain by the pool. Also found the location was perfect for our stay, it was close to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was adequate, typical continental breakfast food. My group loved our stay in Lapeer so much that we are planning a return trip later this year, and when we do, we'll be booking our rooms at The Best Western again.

The rooms were clean & staff was friendly. I would recommend this Hotel

I was a bit disappointed in the pool area. The hot tub was not very hot at all and the clorine smell was over powering no towels at all in the area. The breakfast was good, and the room was nice though.

Good afternoon, Upon receiving your review we checked your account, and you were not double charged. You may have been looking at an authorization which happens at the time of check-in, and then at check-out is when we actually charge your account on file and take payment. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused you. We do not currently, nor have we ever, offered Applepay as a payment option. Thank you for your feedback and have a great day!
