Perfect for an overnight stay while on the road. The room was clean and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the railroad tracks are nearby, the room was quiet. The choice of pillows was a nice touch.
My family stayed here overnight returning home from vacation. We stayed in room 233, which has two beds and a fold-out sofa bed (room sleeps five). This was a great place to stay and clean up and rest after a long day on the road. Check-in was quick, and the receptionist was very friendly. Overall the room was great--very clean and comfortable. The room contained the usual amenities:TV, iron, fridge, desk, dresser. All were in excellent shape and functioned perfectly. There were no objectionable odors. The beds were comfortable and very relaxing. The fold-out sofa bed mattress did not have a fitted sheet nor pad, so I covered it with a sheet I found in the closet. It was comfortable enough, but a fitted sheet and pad would have helped. The bathroom was great. Everything looked new and very clean. Plenty of towels, washcloths, and soap. Water pressure and temperature were very good. Wifi reception in the room was excellent, and we had no issues with it. Breakfast was standard fare (waffle iron, eggs, sausage, milk, juice, cereal, etc.) and it was all fresh and tasty. No complaints. Be aware that a railroad runs very close to the hotel. In the late afternoon and early evening trains would rumble by, which were a little noisy and would cause the room to shake a little (anyone from California can handle it). However, during the night we did not notice any train noises. I don't know if this is because there were no trains running, or because we were sleeping so soundly. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others.
Great property! Brand new and clean in Fernley - Great place to stay and fish Pyramid Lake! Staff was great and helpful - The pool was clean, was a little hot in that room though. Only thing that was weird was that TV and its two remotes?
This review is based on What It Is and Where It Is. In Frisco or New York it would be rated differently. Thursday check in, easy and efficient by Misty; assigned room ground floor, four rooms from end of the building. The room is spacious and has a couch, coffee table and arm chair in an alcove. The refrigerator is larger than expected, but the micro is small. There are two double beds [not queen], a work table with power outlets and a flat screen TV [HBO included]. The indoor pool is clean but SMALL; there's no hot tub. Breakfast is above average with eggs, sausage and waffles; with a large eating area. The usual juices and pastry, but also hard eggs and a good selection on of yogurt. The room doors close automatically and make a loud noise even if you try to stop them. The end of the building is very near the railroad tracks and the passing trains are frequent and cause a rumble in addition to the usual noise. If you are sensitive to vibration and noise, asked to be away from the tracks. Rooms near the front may escape this negative.
The spacious, well appointed lobby gave an excellent first impression of this hotel. Second I noticed it smelled fresh at every turn. The lobby, hallways, and rooms had a fresh, new smell. We had a 2 queen suite with a sofa sleeper that was roomy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the sleeper sofa was unusable as a bed due to a well below standard mattress, even for a sleeper sofa. We went to the desk and the clerk immediately knew the problem, gave us a thick mattress cover and bedding for padding stating it's a known problem. The "fix it kit" worked and the girls slept well.
Nice hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Free breakfast was convenient. Highly recommend for the price. I was very pleased with my stay and recommend this hotel for travelers on a budget. Would stay here again.
Just spent three nights in Fernly, Nevada. For a motel in a small town in the Nevada desert, I was very satisfied with comfort Suites. All of the personnel were friendly and helpful. The price was very decent, about '$100.00 per night for a double room. The room contained a coffee maker (which has been disappearing in many hotels), refrigerator, and microwave oven. A spacious room with a small sitting area allowed us to have family visit without everyone sitting on the beds. About the only thing one could complain about was the proximity of the railroad right behind the building. Even then, the noise was not bothersome. As a train freak, I actually enjoyed the train watching. Breakfast included the standard coffee, tea, 2 juices, pastry/breads as well as waffles, scrambled eggs and a breakfast meat each day. One day was bacon, the next ham steaks, and on the last day sausage links. For those inclined they had a workout room and pool.
I was lucky to find this place. Seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but it is a very nice, motel with spotless, spacious rooms, a very friendly and helpful receptionist and staff, one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in in a long time, and a large, varied, and really nice breakfast.
I have stayed here a few times passing through. It is somewhat close to Burning Man celebration, I was not there for that-it is expensive to attend. Lots of work trucks in the parking lot for local developments. Notice the farm district area to the southeast. Lots of huge trees.
Did not have reservations, showed up at 1 pm and they made accommodations to get me a room and an early check in also! Great service and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, very clean and well kept. My next stay will be here.
