As others have mentioned, the property is old. They have upgraded it somewhat but it is still lacking even for an EconoLodge. We give it 3 stars only because the front desk lady was very, very friendly and accommodating. The room we had was a king bed room and we had our 10# dog with us (an extra $10 fee). The room was spacious but the bathroom was crowded. The toilet itself was so low to the ground that a 5 year old could sit on it and their feet would be flat on the ground! Our knees were above the toilet seat when sitting down. Noise was an issue. The pipes from adjoining rooms would scream whenever anyone was using the showers. There was ample hot water and the HVAC system was adequate. Parking is tight but there is plenty of parking out back. The bed was dated as were the pillows, but still acceptable. Wifi was slow and spotty. For the price, the place was acceptable. It was sold out the night we stayed and I'm certain it is because so many of the other higher end hotels in town are at least 50% higher. If you're just passing through, it might be worth it. If you're staying for a few nights then I'd recommend trying somewhere else.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Property is old but clean and secure. Bedding was a little tired and breakfast was lacking compared to other Econo Lodges we have recently stayed at. Property is probably worth it if you can get a good price.
Nothing is as pictured in person . The lobby is tiny , The pool is not like in the picture This place is falling apart The room had a strange smell The parking area is very much in need Of repair as is the rest of this place
No hot water, paint peeling around pool (which does NOT look like pictured) - microwave broken, door doesn't fully close and toilet backed up and when asked for maintenance- "Hazel" handed me a used plunger- photos includ. They poop in the toilet wasn't even ours!!
Just passing thru before heading back to Vegas. Was here earlier this year and had a good night rest. So why not rest here again. Clean room, pet friendly, frig, microwave, close to downtown.... what more could you ask for?
We stopped on our travels southward on motorcycle with trailer. It was an easy place to pull into, and the room was very comfortable. It met our needs well. Clean and comfortable. Good value for dollar.
Hoped for a better place but was let down. Old school highway motel, and noisy. Your basic lodging, certainly nothing fancy! Better yet higher priced properties are available in Fallon - who knew. We won't plan a repeat stay just because we want better.... nothing bad about the place, we just want a bit better.
Conveniently situated on the road I was travelling, the room was spacious and comfortable for my one night in Fallon. A short drive (or in my case a walk) along passed a few casinos were some fast food and takeout options along with a decent sized supermarket too. The staff were very friendly and a simple breakfast in the morning got me on my way.
This Econo Lodge has been updated and was very nice. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great shower too. The owner or manager, not sure which, who's name was Bill, was very helpful and polite. It was quiet and we had a good night's sleep.
The owners appeared to speak minimal English, but were pleasant and smiling. Our room was clean, updated and the surrounding area was quiet. The breakfast was pretty basic with cereal and honey bun type fare. However, this was the first time I'd ever seen cappuccino available, which was a nice bonus. Our only real issue was the lack of bedding. There was only a sheet and thin blanket with another sheet (printed to look like a bedspread) on top. There was ice on the ground the following morning, so it was a really chilly night and I was freezing. Normally, I'd have cranked the heater, but unfortunately it had its own issues. We turned up the thermostat, but no matter what temp we set it at, it would cycle on and off every couple of minutes. It was right next to the bed, so every time I'd start to doze off, I'd be awakened by the noise and a blast of air blowing onto my face. There was no way, I was going to get to sleep with it on. We finally shut it off and cuddled close for heat. If the bedding situation were remedied, I'd have given the motel a higher rating.
