Friendly staff and great value. Not a resort but an excellent choice for a good nights rest .A basic roadstop motel done right Everything you need clean safe and friendly if ever again in Lovelock would return

We drove in about 10:00pm looking for a clean room to spend the night. We had a room with two queens. The room was clean and had a small kitchen which was helpful. The room was quite good size with an easy chair and a small table and chairs. The managers were very friendly and helpful. The cold breakfast in the morning was pretty sparse considering what we paid for the room.

When I checked in the guy at the desk (I think he was the owner) asked me for my credit card etc. I indicated to him that there was already a pre-paid charge against my credit card for his motel. He said it was typical when someone booked through Expedia (as I had) and that the amount would be credited back to me. Ha! Never happened and no response to my eMails. I believe I was deliberately ripped off. I have checked the web and it appears that this sort of thing is becoming more common. It also appears that the booking agencies are unwilling or unable to do anything about it. The only option is to have your credit card company investigate and withhold payment.

Room looked clean enough when we went in. Pulled the bedspread back and the underside wAs not clean. Made us wonder about the rest of the room. Basic but in my opinion way to expensive for what we got. Lady in the office was nice

Was glad that the casino across the street wouldn't let us check in an hour early. We heard about this place from some contract workers that were eating lunch at the same place we were (Cowpoke Café). Counter person was very nice. Asked for and got a lower level room (it's 2 stories) so we were able to park our motorcycles right outside our door. Rooms were huge. Had a full kitchen. A/C worked excellent, which made us happy because we had been on motorcycles and it was hot outside. Bed was very comfortable. It certainly isn't fancy, but if it's clean and I feel safe.....that's all I need. There were a large group of contract workers there. They started rolling in around 4:30 p.m.. Most of them sat outside their rooms or in the gazebo to eat dinner....which they BBQ'd right there at the hotel. Yes, they drank beer, but never got loud. I had no problem with a group of hard working men and women, getting together after work, eating and drinking to relax before going to bed....which was early. Most were in their rooms by 8:30 and completely in their rooms by 9:00. The only down side to this place was that there were a lot of cigarette butts and some litter around the exterior of the rooms. If they could clean up the hotel grounds, it might look more appealing to people who go by first impressions. We'll definitely stay here again if in the area.

This economy hotel has been poorly maintained. Breakfast is a joke consisting of some cereal and sunny D for juice. , TV needs replacing, bed and pillows need replacing, Rooms half way clean, but outside is covered with cigarette butts and litter. The maid is trying but she has a 20 year old vacuum that doesn't work. Has become a home for traveling contract crews, who sit outside their rooms all night and drink.

Hotel was OK. They call it "Royal Inn Suites". We had an efficiency with a kitchen. Our room was spacious, but sparse and undecorated. Except for a fry pan and a sauce pan, there was absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Not a plate, not a knife, not a fork, not a kitchen towel. The bathroom was large, but there was no stopper in the sink; dangerous for contact lense wearers. The hairdryer bracket had come out of the wall; the towel bar was ready to come off as well. We had to hunt to find our towels; they were in the closet. It was a nice evening and we wanted to open the window, but there was no screen. Restaurant selection in town was extremely lilmited. Free breakfast consisted of a small refrigerator with milk and juice, coffee, toast, peanut butter and individually packaged Swenson rolls. If you are going through Western Nevada, Fernley and Winnemucca have a lot more to offer, but the Royal Inn is OK if you have to stay in Lovelock.

Lovelock is a very small town and therefore not much to chose from, but this Hotel is the best one in town! The owners are very friendly and very helpful! I highly recommend the Royal Inn for your stay in Lovelock!

We stayed at The Royal Inn for 4 nights while upgrading their DirecTV system to a new HD system. The rooms were very comfortable, and each have a kitchenette! There are several lounging spots outside and two grills for the guests. It’s ran completely by the two owners, and they are some of the most kind and generous people you’ll find! They did a great job at making a brief stay in a small town far away from just about anything, feel like home. Would happily stay here again in the future!

Lovelock is a small town in the middle of nowhere. We have stayed there twice and both times stayed at the Royal Inn. A nice young couple runs it and is making a genuine effort to remodel. They are pet friendly as well. Keep in mind this is a very small town and there are not a lot of choices. We ate at a restaurant across the street which got some pretty harsh reviews from others but we found it quite nice, again, considering the lack of choices.
