We enjoyed our time in this very clean apartment that was a central location in Old Town and also very walkable to New Town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. While it was not an issue for us as it was not yet their tourist season, this particular apartment's bedroom might be noisy at night due to the location in relation to a well-used set of outside stairs. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper.

The hotel is upscale feel with a casual vibe ... the staff are communicative and responsive. Beautiful property in a convenient location away from the busier city area and close to the castle. Lovely breakfast offered. Will absolutely return!!

The location of the Fraser is ideal. You can walk from the train station if not carrying heavy luggage, otherwise, a quick but pricy taxi ride. Located a 1/2 block from the Royal Mile. Room was handsome. Two factors kept me from giving a perfect score: the heating unit was really noisy, and the lighting was subdued. Would have appreciated a strong bulb at the desk so as to not always strain my eyes.

Edinburgh visit

The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the attractions and the hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The main downside was the continental breakfast which often ran out of items on the menu. The staff did their best but the lack of options was disappointing.

We stayed at The Fraser Suites 2 times on the same trip and they stored our bags when we took a tour of Skye! The rooms were so spacious and nice! The breakfast was simple but hit the spot before we went out for a day of sightseeing!
