Have stayed here on many occasions and it never disappoints. This time we had a gorgeous spacious room complete with roll top bath. Arrived early and although unable to check in we were able to leave our car in the car park. Staff very friendly, nice dinner & breakfast, super comfy bed and high standard of cleanliness. What more could you ask for? Will definitely stay again.

We went to edinburgh for a short three day break. This hotel is absolutely lovely. We checked in and the girl on reception had a few people in front of us and called for some help. Check in took literally mins which after a 10 hr drive was very welcome. The young lady was very helpfull. The hotel is a grand old place with a nice charm. We had breakfast included for one morning which was superb. We would have loved it for the three days but at £15 per head thats £30 for what we had was a poached egg on toast and a coffee. There is a large selection and a lovely breakfast menu and fresh items but you can really only east so much. If it was £8 you would go there everyday. The stand out thing for us was the room was lovely and warm and the best bed ive ever slept in. We had an upgraded room and it was fab 14 i think it was. I stay in hotels for work and am away mon-fri nearly all year so have stayed in countless hotels and this one is well recommended. Parking can be tight but once we parked we never moved the car. Book this its great and my wife said the homemade short read in reception was the best she had ever had. Will definately return

I booked the Bruntsfield BW at a tough time for me, with my girlfriend having left the country and feeling a bit alone in the city. One of her parting gifts to me was the money for a hotel room with a bathtub, as I have really missed having one in my new flat (which only has a tiny shower). I mentioned this in the comments when booking the hotel and the room I was given was beyond my wildest dreams - I presume they must have upgraded me without saying, as there's no way this was purely a "standard" double. It had a massive bathroom with a huge free-standing tub in the middle. It made my day and I couldn't have been happier. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone, and I'm hopefully going to make this a semi-regular thing now whenever I need a good soak!

Visit EDINBURGH mostly at Christmas each year and find this hotel conveniently located, good value, excellent food and well stocked bar. Staff always helpful.Ten minute walk into city which helps work of any excesses from the night before.

Excellent hotel, in a great area and you can walk from the centre in 20 mins. Clean, comfortable, excellent breakfast. Opposite a lovely park, lots of restaurants nearby (one in particular called Henricks was amazing!) Would love to visit again!

Good Hotel near city centre. Worth the money and would definitely stay again. The car park was full when we arrived which caused a slight problem Which was resolved quickly. Only there for one night but would return. The group maintain high standards.

We visited this hotel as a base to visit the Christmas Market. I would not hesitate to recommend the Bruntsfield to any one who is visiting Edinburgh. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable and the bed was massive. Breakfast was delicious and set us up nicely for the day ahead. Best of all though were the staff who without exception were cheerful and helpful.

This is the second time we've visited Edinburgh and we chose to return to this hotel. It is a little out of the centre but not too far. Easy to get the bus into town or grab a taxi for about a £5 or if you've got the energy and it's not too cold or wet about a 20min walk. It's a really cosy, welcoming, just lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly and will do everything they can to help you. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Has all you need, toiletries, tea & coffee station, Tv, Hairdryer, plenty of room and plug sockets by sides of the bed, cleaned and fresh towels every day. The bed was so comfortable, I'm pregnant and not comfortable at night but I slept so well here. I loved the little touches of complimentary lemon water and shortbreads in the lobby. I will definitely return to this hotel next time we visit.

A wonderful, warm, welcoming hotel perfectly located on the edge of central Edinburgh and overlooking the Meadows. A massive, stone building in traditional, Scottish style but tastefully modernised, the Bruntsfield Hotel provides spacious, comfortable rooms and a friendly service. Fabulous breakfast in very modern dining area overlooking patio. Only downside were some rude, grumpy guests complaining about the lack of taxis! Well done to the staff for keeping their cool.

Very well located hotel. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Nice and warm, rooms at back are quieter if you have the choice. Standard restaurant but good for quick pre theatre meal. Very happy to recommend
