Exceptional service and charming hotel

Tremendous hotel in Dublin. The staff were all really welcoming, helpful and really made the stay a delight. The hotel itself was full of charm, old but very clean and well maintained. The Saints and Scholars bar was the hotel's heart though, always busy and great to come back to after a day out exploring Dublin. We were both vegan and contacted Simon the deputy manager before our stay. As a result, vegan sausages, bacon, yoghurt and plant milk were all there for us when we arrived. They also adapted the vegetarian breakfast for us which was delicious. Utterly brilliant service all round. Will definitely stay there again when we go back to Dublin.

Although we arrived before checkIn time, the friendly reception staff allowed us to get into our room which was much appreciated after our long journey. Room was comfy and interesting view out the window of the hustle and bustle of Dublin City centre- great location with bus/tram just outside the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of choice and fresh cooked breakfast prepared to your individual taste- I recommend the porridge with fresh cream and honey! All the staff were friendly and efficient, there was a good atmosphere about the hotel - would recommend and hope to be back soon.

Lovey clean room with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast just a shame the room wasn’t bigger to accommodate the size of the hotel. 2/3 mornings we had to wait in another room to be seated for breakfasted. Bit of noice from the tram line but that can’t be helped. Would stay here again.

Lovely spot and easy to get around. Shopping is nearby, and places to dine. The Wynn had a wonderful breakfast and staff is very helpful . We did find the room quite small but was expecting that.

Rooms newly renovated, very clean, tea facilities and coffee machine, lovely bathroom, tho bit of a learning curve for shower controls! my original, single room was very dark but when i asked to change, they immediately gave me upgrade so that was much appreciated. Lovely breakfast, nicely prepared hot choices. Lovely bit-old fashioned feel to the hotel.

The staff was excellent & accommodating. They let us check in very early which was so appreciated after a long flight! The hotel is in a central location for all the sites we wanted to see. The rooms were small such is expected. The toilets didn’t flush well and the lighting wasn’t great but these are all things you’d expect from an older hotel. Highly recommend overall!

Small Hotel. Room was small and basic. However, it does not live up to its 4 star ranking. Some basic features were missing: no provision of shower cap, grooming essentials like cotton buds and toothbrush. It was very warm and we had to ask for a fan, and a dyson tower fan was provided but there wasn't much room for it so had to stand it on one of the chairs. Breakfast spread was good with a good selection. Tram stop was just outside the hotel but train station is some way away. Generally, staff was helpful and prompt in responding to queries.
