Hotel was conveniently located to a lot of sites of interest. For a 3 star hotel it was very good. The staff I can't say enough about them. I rated them as a five but I would rate them as a ten if it was possible. They were extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Would I stay there again; yes.

Close to everything.Easy acces to museums, and historical sights.

The hotel room was fairly nice, definitely spacious enough, but the lack of A/C made it almost uncomfortable (keep in mind I'm a spoiled American who hasn't been across the pond in 9 years, so my expectations were possibly unrealistic). Breakfast was included & was good. Parking was a tad difficult, & cost an extra 10-15 euro/day. Staff was courteous. There is an awesome little pub downstairs in the cellar, & if there is live entertainment, it's a wonderful place to spend an evening having a pint or 3.

My husband I enjoyed our stay in Dublin. The weather was great!Sunny everyday, temps in the mid 60's. The Irish are very warm and friendly. We enjoyed the many museums and other cultural activities. We would recommend Ireland to everyone.

Hotel stay was pleasant and staff very attentive. Room small and hot water comes and goes but overall good value.

the hotel was very comfortable, clean and staff was doing their job. easy access to everything around dublin. we walked the majority of the time. there's even a bar downstairs where you can enjoy live music and the breakfast was surprisingly great. the only thing was wifi was a little spotty. it was kind of hard to access things, which just gave us an excuse to go to the local pub and use their wifi. :) all in all, i would return.

The nice thing is price and I should have known that with that low price comes with a cost the room was absolutely freezing cold and only the hotel staff can change the temperature. I asked them three times PLEASE turn the heat up in my room and the heater remained cold. Next thing was to warm up in the shower. Nope. When I turned the throttle in shower to hot the dribble that came out was pathetic. Meaning virtually no water at all unless I turned the cold on then all the freezing cold water you would want came out in force. So no heat for two days and no shower for two days.

Quaint hotel in a good location - Georgian architecture in area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous. Single room is small but comfortable.

I would recommend this hotel and the location is very convenient to shopping, Airport Bus, and all Dublin attractions including Pubs!. Staff very helpful and friendly

We were in town for the UCF/Penn St. football game and had 2 rooms and stayed 4 nights at the hotel. The first room was on the street side and was very noisy because of traffic and late night revelers. It was warm so the windows were open but a PM pill allowed us a fairly good night's sleep until the last night when guests in the next room were very loud. The other room was on the courtyard side and much quieter but very warm in the room. The staff was wonderful--happily taking care of all our requests quickly. The service and friendliness of the bar staff left a lot to be desired but the entertainment was good. The breakfast was very good and the cafe staff very accommodating. The hotel is very charming and its location was perfect. We walked to the stadium and many nearby restaurants and pubs.

Excellent service, great food, and unique rooms make this Dublin hotel special. The restaurants offer tasty food and have charming, authentic decor. Within walking distance of most attractions. Located directly across from a beautiful memorial park. Only downfall is city noise at night. Great value for price

This is my second time trying to post this review, so cannot be so detailed, but I was very satisfied with this private hotel and so glad I chose it rather than a chain. It was so easy to book and pay for on line - much faster than writing this review! The hotel has a family owned feeling, because it is, and is in a row house that is easily recognizable at Georgian, and in my view it has considerable charm coupled with convenience - like a lift, restaurant and bar on premises, and within walking distance from the airport bus drop off and tours. There are also a couple of sights right next door - a garden of remembrance and a writers' museum, both worth a visit. O'Connell Street, the river, Trinity etc., locally-crafted shops etc. are also within walking distance, along with music bars and eateries. The food at the hotel is good, served in the cellar bar/restaurant, breakfast was included in my room and was served, or there was a buffet. I am a senior single and was given a double bed, with pine-colored furniture, and the room was freshly and sweetly decorated. Nice bathroom etc. There are plenty of public sitting areas on the main level, and the staff are very nice indeed. I hope this posts!

Excellent Location, Good size room and ensuite, Tasty Breakfast, Well run hotel and staff very helpfull and offered umbrella as it was raining. Wi Fi great. Good resources available and reception gave advice on where to go. Overall a pleasant stay in Ireland.

My sisters and I spent a week @ the Castle Hotel. My room was fine though had trouble trying to adjust the heat. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom could use some updating. There was a desk with drawers for clothing also a wardrobe for hanging. My other sister's room was quite the opposite. No place for their clothing and the shower curtain didn't reach the floor so there was a flood every time they took a shower. It was reported and they did try but it just needed a longer curtain which I guess they didn't have. Our rooms were quite a distance from the elevator and a joke was made about leaving a trail of breadcrumbs as there were many doors to go through and ups and downs in the floor. Quirky! The included breakfasts were fine and service was excellent. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very good. The salmon was great and the steak sandwiches even better. They also allowed substitutions so we could get veggies instead of fries. I would definitely stay there again but I don't think my sister would. Too bad but I enjoyed it and the location right off of O'Connell Street was a bonus.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff made our trip everything we had hoped it would be.

Great location, good hotel, walk to everything, they are accommodating !

Loved this hotel and it's staff. I really enjoyed the vintage decor of the entire place. The restaurant and bar were fantastic, but maybe a little overpriced. Still great to be able to walk downstairs and grab a pint and a bite before heading out for a night on the town. I had the unfortunate room located above the back alley which was always booming with loud noises in the morning. It wasn't that big of a deal for me and definitely did not ruin my stay. The location is fantastic. Within walking distance to just about everything near the Liffey. Thanks for entertaining this Arizona desert dweller. I will be back eventually!

Castle Hotel is a great location! Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Dublin. Staff was very nice and helpful. Food in reataurant was great and the bar was a great place to listen to some Irish music. Family room was comfortable for a famly of four.

The rooms are smaller than American hotels but the location is great. The staff is really helpful and the breakfast is a great convenience.

I had a very brief stay in Dublin, and the Castle Hotel fit my needs perfectly. The staff were incredibly helpful (including assistance with charting out a bicycling route), and the food at the restaurant was terrific. The location can't be beat, putting you within walking (or bicycling!) distance of all of the key things to see. I would definitely stay here again!
