This was my first time in Dublin. I wanted to make sure I was in a great location for food, drinks, and music. The Temple Bar area, while touristy (yes, I was a tourist), still felt authentic to this historical city. Wellington Temple Bar is in the perfect location to walk to several attractions. The room was small, but I was solo and only in the room to sleep, so it was perfectly fine. The bed was super comfy, though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. With this hotel being in such a busy area, the room was surprisingly quiet, even with the bar/restaurant downstairs. At the end of the day, I’d wind down at the bar/restaurant to reflect on the great day I had in the city. I do plan to go back to Dublin and will stay at the Wellington if it’s available to book.

Clean room having balcony was great as we put our milk out there to keep cold ha ha no fridge - it was Dec ! Right in the Heart of templebar . Breakfast in the adjoining bar was hearty and delicious , just strange to sit in the bar in the morning ! If youre driving in December or when roads are closed due to events , google maps takes you on a tiki tour and never to the hotel as roads are closed ! Park over the canal at the parking suggested by hotel - pay on arrival and get discount ( if you book online you dont get discount for staying at hotel ) and walk over bridge direct to hotel - easy if you know

great location. fit my needs for a quick visit in Dublin. Easy to get to with Dublin Express bus. O'Riordans - very nice lunch at the attached bar. Room is small, but comfortable. I was on 6th floor, completely quiet the entire stay. Great value for the price.

I had a great stay at the Wellington. The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and always helpful. The bar and waiting staff in the restaurant were very friendly my days there. The hotel is directly in the heart of Templar Bar. It made for the perfect location to venture out to the various places in Dublin I wanted to visit. As the hotel will warn you, there is music playing in the bar nightly. You can also hear the outside partners on the streets. It wasn’t a problem for me, but if you want absolute peace, it might not be the best hotel option for you. Overall I’m so happy I chose to stay here.

We stayed at the Wellington Temple Bar, our first 2 nights in Ireland and we wish we would have stayed longer. We were skeptical when we arrived, as it wasn’t the “typical hotel” signage and lobby. The lobby was tiny, but the Irishman who checked us in, couldn’t have been nicer when he checked us in and took our luggage (our room wasn’t ready). When we did get in our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was big and bright with beautiful views of The River Liffey and Dublin! The room was spacious, with a great shower and extremely comfortable beds. The location of the hotel was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Dublin. The bar with live music was a great way to end the evening. We hope to visit Dublin again someday and will definitely stay at the Wellington Temple Bar
