Beautiful hotel, clean
Nice location and classy
one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in . amazing breakfast. all the little things they do
Excellent boutique hotel that provider all the little things that most hotels no longer provide. The hotel is clean and new in appearance and a little bit of a throw back to times when owners took pride in their properties. Developed by John Madden and classy is the best description. They had electric charging as well.
I’ve stay in some of the finest hotels in the world and this one competes with all of them. The staff are amazing, the property sumptuous and our room ultra comfortable.
I’ve stayed in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world and the Rose Hotel competes with them.
The property is gorgeous. Very old world charm. Room was clean. Service was great. Able to accommodate special request for my birthday.
Lovely room and outstanding service. Right next door to an excellent restaurant with a gigantic patio that is open during Covid. Great stay.
Old fashion hotel in the heart of Pleasanton. Clean and well maintained with great rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
My wife and I arrived at the property at 2:57 pm for a 3 pm check-in. It was an hour later before staff at The Rose called me on my cell phone to let us know we could walk back to the hotel and that our room was ready. No assistance was offered by this 'boutique' hotel's personnel with respect to luggage. A problem with an inoperational TV was never addressed by the staff. We were told it was a maintenance issue. Ironically, a Hispanic male employee told me the next morning that there is always a maintenance member working. You would think so for a boutique hotel, right? The result: no operational TV the entire stay! The Rose's excuse: The remote control in the rooms can be complex and confusing...If this is true, the hotel appears to already be on notice that this could be an impediment to a guest's stay. Strike 3... A wedding party stayed on our floor. What was left to linger was a smelly, offensive male body odor smell that encompassed the entire 2nd floor! I almost thought this was the intentional air fragrance used at The Rose, until I went up to the 3rd floor. ***Prior to writing a review, I attempted to resolve issues with Assistant General Manager, Vishakha Bhadra, and Sales Manager, Tom Walker. Neither were interested in setting up a meeting or talking over the phone. Neither my wife, nor I, would be interested in recommending The Rose. A better boutique hotel selection awaits Bay area travelers in the great city of San Francisco. Avoid The Rose.
Amazing place - really really nice. Looks really old but yet is new and with every amenity - it’s just designed with the old world ambience in mind.
One of the best hotels in California...highly recommended
2nd floor had strange odor in the hallway. Thankfully inside our room was great!! The people were awesome!!
Right in the center of town with restaurants walking distance.
Beautiful place with great location. Slept like a baby.
Beautiful hotel in downtown Pleasanton, within walking distance to several restaurants. This hotel feels more like you are staying in a guest room at someone's home. A very New Orlean's feel and a great breakfast! I would recommend it to anyone.
My husband and I stayed here for a business trip. The service was amazing and we loved the rooms
