Afternoon check-in person was pleasant but unusually demanding. Tried to check-in for a pre-paid reservation for my self and wife and clerk demanded my wife appear before him and actually prevented her from swiping my credit card, I had to physically swipe my card! So fixated on names and identities! We have been married for 40 years and have the same ID information and last names! Been to hundreds of hotels in my life and never been so disappointed in a simple check-in in my life. Very weird!

It was not a good stay. The young man did not inform us that the elevator was broken until after we paid and we were on the 3rd floor...My 90 year old grandmother was with me. I was getting luggage out of the car at 9:15pm and the sign on door said the main doors lock at 10:00pm and when i was coming back inside with luggage, the main doors were magically locked. Thankfully i had my key..... was that to purposely inconvenience me? The next morning when i was bringing the luggage to the car (mind you i am making 3-4 trips as we had a dog with us too) and i got back up to the room and my room key stopped working almost as if someone deactivated it on purpose to inconvenience me again, forcing me to speak to the young man at the desk who i already felt was trying to have unnecessary conversations with me. The breakfast area is tiny and i mean tiny and as i was making my last coffee for the road, the same young man was reaching over me and around me to pick up because breakfast was over.... i was almost done making my coffee... and the room was so tiny. Awful stay. That young man made me very uncomfortable.

We stayed there a couple of times and every time we did we made sure everything was always cleaned even before we checked out. But this last time I wasn’t happy because we were accused of putting to e beds together and we never did. I moved the little table so my daughter wouldn’t play with the lights and we were told that the beds were moved when they weren’t. That’s one thing my family and don’t do. We are very respectful and clean. Other than that everything was good. Breakfast can be better with more choices like eggs bacon sausage etc.

At check in I asked to use a card not on my app and they still charge that card. Got to our room and the gap was so bad you could see light through it, outside noise was so bad I thought the windows were open and our bath tub had a weak spot in the middle that looked like it had been fixed and didn’t hold up. Oh and no in room coffee pot
