Breakfast options were far better, with many choices, hot food, fresh ground coffee. Shower stream was strong and quickly warm. Very quiet surroundings. Great to be able to have our dog with us.

During check in, front desk staff was very welcoming. Hotel looks nice on the surface but just as I thought, a whole bunch of cover up patch work. The room smelled like old smoke. The shower was way too small and broken. Towels/wash cloths need to be replaced. They’ve been used too much! Bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Old hair & dirt in the shower, floor and counter. We were exhausted from a long day and needed some rest. At 9:31am housekeeping staff knocked on the door 4 times. It woke us up and we were little startled. My husband yelled, “we’re here, isn’t check out at 12p?” and a woman responded, just checking to see if you were still here. I was super pissed. During check out, we had to stand around until someone came out to the desk. A woman appeared and said, “oh she’s in the bathroom, how can I help you?”. I shared our experience about the housekeeping incident and her response was, “Oh you didn’t put the do not disturb tag on the door?” I told her no and I shouldn’t have to. We travel and stay at alot of hotels and have never had that happen. She made us feel like we were wrong. She brushed it off and told us,”whenever you stay at any hotel you’re always supposed to put the sign on the door”. She said they were completely booked for the weekend and staff need to turn rooms over before 3p for the next guest checking in. Made no sense to me, why knock on my door at 9:31a if check out isn’t until 12p? Place reminds me of remodeled motel. Never again!
