Convenient location

Great place downtown in the R&T building. Easy walk to Iowa Cubs game and tons of restaurants/breweries nearby. Parking was a breeze and connected by skyway. Rooftop patio offered a peaceful evening spot to relax.

Swim meet weekend

Great location to the Wellmark pool. Accessible to the Skywalk off the third floor. Starbucks is only one block away. Only con was that the bedroom closest to the road has a lot of noise from road traffic.

Family Visit

We spent the weekend in Des Moines visiting our daughter. Our family enjoyed using the game room in the basement. The building itself was exceptionally secure. The beds were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for night shift

I'm a travel nurse that works night shift and this apartment was perfect. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. One of the bedrooms does not have windows which is perfect for a day sleeper. I will definitely stay here again if available.

Decent value for downtown stay

We spent 11 days in Dan’s place. The apartment itself was great. This is a building with several units on multiple floors so a lot of people come and go. And they don’t all appreciate picking up as we ran across spilled food multiple times between the elevators and halls. The building seemed secure. The rooftop dog park was disgusting as ppl did not pick up after their pets.

Short and sweet

We only stayed on night but it was perfect, The apt was clean, in a good area and close enough to several restaurants, breweries, some tourist spots and a DG for last minute items. Beds were comfy and location of bedrooms provided privacy. We would definitely stay there again if ever in the area. Host was.very responsive and provided clear instructions. Thank you

Clean & Centrally Located

The condo was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and centrally located in downtown Des Moines near the locations our event was occurring. The host communicated well and check-n and check-out were very easy.

Great place to stay!

Description online was very accurate. More then enough supplies stocked and very clean! Will definitely stay again if we ever need to go to the Civic Center again! Super quick walk to get there and very convenient. I would recommend packing food and drinks. There are vending machines but the snack one was empty. My own fault for not planning ahead better. But just a note for the next person!

Excellent overnight

We needed a quick overnight stop on the way from Denver to West Michigan that would allow pets. We arrived very late and getting in was a breeze. The apartment was very nice, easily accessible, and just down the street from a great bakery/coffee shop for our early departure. Just what we needed. Would happily stay again.
