Old motel, stairs had so many cracks they were boarded off, beds were old and sunken

I think the place could be a little better maintain,

Propriety condition very poor. Stairs in my section closed. Liked like there was a risk of them crumbling.

The front desk folks are incredibly nice, which makes a difference. I booked a night here for $50 more than another place thinking the extra cost ($179 total) would translate to a nicer, safer feeling spot. The place is just kind of run down - more like $89 a night feel. Pool is completely drained... it also has the entrances to the rooms from outside which I should've paid attention to but didn't and don't love / never feels safe to me. Lots of noise from the highway if you're on the backside of the hotel.

This is a $60 night (or less) property. You can’t put lipstick on a pig but they tried. They have updated furniture but the rest is old, worn out, broken. Chipped paint, worn carpet, sinks & showers don’t drain, stained ceilings, the outside has crooked, worn concrete, rotting wood, bad paint....this place is a dump. La Quinta I needs to be notified. There’s no way this place is to their standards.

I had a horrible exprience from start to finish at this property and would appreciate a refund.

This was one of the worst motel stays that we have ever had. Facilities were in terrible condition and we did not feel safe. We had booked and paid for a two night stay and we bounced after our first night stay and ate the cost of the second night. It was that bad.

My first room smelled so strong of smoke and incense, so I requested a change. The staff was very courteous but the second room also smelled of cigarettes, just not as strong. The carpet was filthy. I layed towels down to walk on. The shower has a disgusting discolored mat glued down. There was a hand print in the wall. It was probably makeup, but at first glance I thought it was blood. Terribly noisy, hourly trains, air conditioner sucked.

The room was wet due to leaking pipes and the floor was damp and made the room musty. When we reported it to the front desk the guy at the desk seem confused by it and rude to me. When we asked for another room they said one was not available. If ANOTHER HOTEL HAD AN OPEN ROOM WE WOULD HAVE LEFT. Also we where woke up at 2:15am Saturday. When we asked for security to check it out..... they said it was probably security that was out there. We plan to go to Denver about four times a year to visit, we would never stay there again.

Filthy, smelly, unmaintained motel. Scary looking people behind the counter...we're talking face tattoos. The bath tub did not drain, neither did the sink. They did, however, send maintenance to unclog the drains. After that, they kind-of drained... Carpets were sticky. Yuck! There was all kinds of hair on the back two pillows - there were four on each bed. So...they just change the pillows that look used?? Do not stay here. This place should be demolished. I will not stay at another La Quinta...ever!

Great location , easy access to highways. Will stay sgain!

Had to leave and go to another hotel - this one was dirty and in a bad neighborhood

Hotel is a good location. Staff was fine. Breakfast was standard. It is a no frills hotel. The only complaint is that we requested a king and at check in they had no more

Bed was very hard. Bathroom vent had dark dust all over it. Was visible rust all around door hinges even on wall. Phone was intermittent.

Everything was great except the noise from the train tracks just outside our window. Bring white noise and ear plugs.

Dirty bathroom We wouldn’t shower it was so bad. The facility is old and needs care

This hotel is located in the vicinity of Denver's Union Station. If you plan to arrive/depart by train, you should consider staying in this hotel. If you're a wine lover, a shop called "Wine & Spirits" is right in front of the property. There's also an Starbucks and a 711 within a few steps from the lobby. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast each day from 6-9am, which includes boiled eggs, sliced bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, milk, and waffles. The premises are well maintained, the staff is friendly, room is comfortable and clean. IMHO, it's the best value for your money in this side of town. I'll definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to the Mile High City.
