Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown-Convention Center

3.5 out of 5.0

One of the nicest hotels in the neighborhood. specially for the cost. Location is near to most anything in Downtown Denver.

I've stayed in many high end/luxury hotels. This homewood suite is one of the most comfortable, friendly hotel. It is steps away from shopping and many restaurants on 16th st. Walking distance to museums. Very safe to walk. Staff are excellent. Complimentary daily breakfast and dinner/drinks Monday through Thursday. We stayed for 7 days for conference and we enjoyed our stay.

Walking distance to art venues, downtown, buses and light rail. Comfortable and quiet and friendly staff. Easy to get to, valet. Parking is $39 or so a night so be prepared.

Great experience from the time we check in until the time we checked out.

Great location and fantastic when you are there for a few days. Felt like a studio apartment. Super quiet, comfy and really had everything you need.

The breakfast tasted like it came out of a plastic bag, we were charged a full price with no Discount after a pipe broke, causing fire alarms to go off for an hour and drenching the main floor lobby to the point where your shoes were wet--not good when going outside in the winter. We also lost water in our room due to the pipe break. Definitely NOT worth the price and I would never recommend a friend or family member to stay in this hotel.

Good experience. Great hotel for the parade of lights

This was so much better than your standard hotel, it made my boyfriend and I feel like we were at a second home. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the amenities were excellent. Also, the breakfast offered by the hotel (free of charge) was top notch. It was better than we'd get at a restaurant. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a home away from home.

Very great service from the staff. They were all very welcoming.

Non-draining tub, no shower curtain. Maintenance apparently started working on it before we arrived, but left before it was fixed, without informing hotel staff not to assign that room. We got in late and didn't realize the tub wasn't fixed and that the shower curtain was missing. The next morning was a disaster as we rushed about trying to get ready for an early pre-wedding event. We did not enjoy our 30-second showers. Front desk staff eventually gave us an extra hour to check out (we went to the event and then came back to pack and finish checking out) but were otherwise unsympathetic. Couldn't even give our daughter a bath because the tub wouldn't drain and soap and shampoo were everywhere. Simple communication between maintenance and other staff would have entirely prevented this.

Great room, nice amenities, 1 block from 16th street mall. Staff kind and helpful. I'd stay again.

This hotel was perfect in every sense - location (one block form 16th street), service, cleanliness of room and amenities in room, and finally price. Highly recommend for a stay in Denver!!!

Place was nice. Had to pay 20 to park for the night even though we spend a lot on this room. That was my only problem.

It was one of the nicest hotel I have ever stayed. Friendly people, modern environment, large rooms with clean kitchen, good location... The hotel is definitely a highlight of my trip in Denver.

Great rooms........................................................................................................................................... .............. . ..............

Wonderful all around. Will stay again. Looking forward to returning.

Great hotel, very expensive parking in the area, including with the hotel itself. Expensive bar attached to the hotel, but friendly staff. Overall good experience and hotel.

Great location. The hotel was very new and modern. Everything was very clean. The sofa was not comfortable at all and had a tough almost rubber quality to it. The mattress was way too soft. The mattress may be the only reason I'd choose another hotel.

The hotel shattered our expectations. It is a wonderful value, and situated in an unbeatable location. I had no idea, but my fiance had told them that he would be proposing during our stay! They upgraded us to a top floor room, and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us. The room was wonderful, very spacious and comfortable. We were able to get around without a car, as it is very centrally located. The complimentary breakfast was great! There were plenty of hot breakfast items to choose from, as well as the usual continental selections. We cannot wait to go back to this beautiful city that now holds such a special place in our hearts, and we will definitely stay here again :)

Upon arrival I was upgraded to the 11th floor, right below the Penthouse. I had a spectacular view and was given a HUGE room. For the money I have no idea how they made money on my stay. Thank you Homewood!
