This property is in a great area downtown. You can walk to the convention center, many restaurants, bars, and attractions. The daily fee is pretty ridiculous, especially if you don’t plan on using valet. Other than that, everything was great.

I would definitely stay here again! Excellence in all areas. Front desk staff to room service. The hotel was a short distance from my conference which made it a nice walk during the day. At night I ubered and that is where I had my only negative. Construction at the hotel required me to picked-up and dropped off away from the hotel. Not as far a walk but it was more for my safety.

The hotel itself was excellent, but the construction downtown makes it very difficult to find the hotel. Streets are closed, construction is everywhere. I tried to call the hotel to find out how to drive to their check-in area, but there was a 26 minute wait to talk to anyone. In the end, we learned we had to go the wrong way down a one-way street to even access the parking. It is by no means the fault of the hotel, but I do think they could communicate this to those checking in prior to their arrival.

Good room but several problems throughout hotel.

The room was great. However, when we checked in at 5 o’clock, our room was not available despite checking in being at 3 o’clock. We did not get checked in for about an hour later and we’re late for the baseball game. We were in town for. When I inquired why it was taking so long, they said that my wife had already checked in which was not true. They said she had the keys and wasn’t sure why I was requesting check-in. There was definitely some confusion on their end on how this all happened. Breakfast bar was a little bit of a joke as when we went , all of the warm food containers were completely empty with several people standing in line waiting for the food. The pancake makers were apparently out of order but no sign or indication that this was the case. Our TV also was not working and they did send a tech up immediately to help however, after about an hour of troubleshooting, they said there was nothing they could do. overall, the room was great but the check-in process, lack of communication, poor breakfast, and no TV were all things that affected our stay.

Great location near Convention center

While there were a few problems along the way, staff worked diligently to try to fix the issues. The USB ports were not functional, but maintenance showed up with boxes for our phones. My daughter found a pair of men’s underwear tucked away in the bathroom that housekeeping had missed. The shampoo and soaps were basically empty, but we did get replacements. The bathroom sink was leaking in the P-trap underneath. We spent three days with a bowl underneath to catch the water. Basically the problems that we had were eventually fixed. It was just unfortunate to encounter the problems in the first place. I think the responsibility falls on housekeeping to have noticed the empty containers and the previous guest items left behind. One issue that was out of the control of the hotel where the construction in Denver. I had two Lyft drivers cancel on me when I was trying to leave, and it eventually took my daughter two hours to get to me and what should’ve been a 45 minute trip because every street was closed off. I might recommend folks wait until the construction downtown is done. That was an absolute mess!

Overall, the property was nice. It wasn't great. We loved the location and did not have a car (which was ok, since overnight valet was $60-and not optional) so walking everywhere was easy and convenient. We did like that a lot! They only offer full housekeeping every FIVE days. And a "touch up" every other day--but NOT on the weekend. So, if you get there Thursday, as we did, and leave Monday-nothing. NADA. We had to call for clean towels as each day that we were there it was over 100* and we both took showers in the mornings and before going out for dinner after long days outside walking. This was a hard pill to swallow, the rates are not such that I expect full housekeeping to only occur every FIVE days. And the "touch up" only included garbage, making your bed -with the sheets already on the bed, and exchanging towels. But, again...not on the weekend. There was also a black tarry goo on our bathroom floor that we ended up putting a towel over to cover up since it didn't come clean with what ever housekeeping had used on it.
