Apparently my room had had a long time guest in it prior to my arrival who had "friends" come and visit at random times. It was disconcerting to be in a town I did not know and have multiple people knocking on my door at night.

Good location but property needs total makeover If hasn’t been touched in many years

This hotel looks nothing like the images on the orbits website. It is in a run down area, I’m pretty sure we saw a drug deal go down when we were checking in. The doors are open to the outside....

It has great location, friendly staff, easy check in and check out. The room was very clean. Great for the price!

Very nice staff. Ample room. Beds and pillows comfortable. Breakfast acceptable. It is nice to have a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. It is next to a Dennis and there is a gas station and convenience store around the corner. It is also a couple of blocks from Freeway 35E, about 10 minutes from Downtown and half an hour from DFW, and 20 minutes from the aquarium, which is a must visit.

George was an amazing manager, and the cleaning lady was extremely nice. They both went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The room was spacious, with a table and chair, enough drawers and hanging space, and more than enough for three big pieces of luggage. I loved having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, which worked perfectly. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The beds were very high, which makes it difficult for me to sit or get on them, but that seems to be pretty standard now. Same with the lack of a ceiling lamp. However, there was enough light, both beds had personal lights and an extra reading lamp. The bathtub and shower area were new and very clean, although the wals could use some paint. The rest of the room was very clean. The outside was also a bit manky, but there was more than enough parking space. Breakfast was basic, but good. All in all, we werevery happy, especially considering the price we paid. We'll definitely chose a Days Inn for our future stays whenever we can.

I have been here before. Seems they have upgraded a few things. Staff was great. Sufficient breakfast (coffee, juice, pastries, bagels, toast, cereal) Right next door to Denny's if you want more. Also, the 'business center' came in very handy as I was in the middle of closing on my house back home and needed access to email and print documents. Already planning to be back here next year.

The room was bigger that we expected and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Stay here if all you care about is a cheap room rate that is close to the Dallas Gift Mart. It was hard to tell if the room was clean since it was so dark. I prepaid a 7 night stay or I would have left after the second day. My sheets where never changed and when I would say something to the manager he would say he would talk to housekeeping. The other excuse for my bed not even being made was that I had put the Do Not Disturb sign on my door. That wasn't possible since I didn't even have a Do Not Disturb sign.

Hotel rooms smelled bad of smoke and seems to be in a bad part of town. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone with kids or asthma.

Very convenient location and friendly helpful staff.

This hotel is a budget stay and does fit the old cliche " you get what you pay for"

Aside from the huge cicada/cockroaches in the bathroom, and the general dinginess of the room... it was ok for one night. The staff were very friendly...but what else can they do. And this might be me...but I HAD to clean the bathroom before we could use it.

The appearance is shabby, construction was taking place, and although the staff is very competent, the breakfast was far less than expected––we left. It was bare bones and nothing more.

If you just need a place to sleep for a bit this place will work fine. Has no fridge or microwave in the room so don't count on any of those.

This place is nasty. Took a shower and walked around the room in my bare feet. Afterwards my feet were black. The staff is really nice but it is in a crummy part of town. There are usually drug addicts passed out near the Denny's out front.

It is pretty gross here. The staff was nice though.

I am giving this spot 3 stars because it is a bit run down and obviously there are better places for around the same amount of money but you will be far outside the city. I was in Dallas for work that was happening right in downtown and I was a 4 minute drive away which was perfect. The rooms are small and outdated but what do you expect when you pay 75 a night. The main thing was that they were clean and the staff was very nice.
