Lovely home- Dangerous part of Dallas - DO NOT STAY

We (my husband, 5 year old daughter, and 77 year old mother) stayed here over Thanksgiving to visit family. We obviously didn't know this part of town when we booked. We only stayed 1 night out if our 3 night / 4 day stay. Let me tell you why. House is exactly as described. Really cute house, and hosts are actually nice, but hear this: House obviously had a huge house party in it before we came. Reeked of cigarettes and pot, and a terrible deodorizer that made it worse. The hosts were gracious and apologized.Thats not the kicker. ALL NIGHT, and I'm talking 4 separate times between 1am and 4am, my husband and I were woken up by multiple gun shots. One series was so close to the alley the primary bedroom's bed sits against, we both woke up and dropped onto the floor. We were absolutely terrified. We left the next morning out of fear for our lives. DO NOT STAY HERE. ITS NOT SAFE.
