Best Western Northwest Inn

I've chosen this hotel because of the best combination of 3 factors: price, pubic transportation to downtown, public transportation to airport, hotel condition. And it was not a mistake. The "#31"bus stop is 1 minute walk away. It has a reliable pretty frequent schedule and gets you to the DART train station in 3minutes. Six stops by DART train - and you are in downtown Dallas. All the trip to downtown can be as short as just 40minutes. And this costs $5/day if you buy a daypas. So you can ride all over Dallas for this price for the whole day. I should say that Dallas has a very good, reliable public transportation network. The trains from the nearest DART train station can get you to both DAL-Love Field Airport (just 2 train stops) and DFW airport (a bit more train stops away). So the whole trip to/from airport via public transport can be shorther than 60 minutes (1 ride=$2.5, daypass= $5). The hotel condition is very good. I liked the breakfast very much! Pork sausages, fried eggs, yougurt, Nutella chocolatte cream, and many more items.

Great place to stay and plan to stay there again. Like the size of the room.

This is a utilitarian hotel. It serves its purpose. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It's close to restaurants and the highway.

Nothing was lacking but could use a little sprucing up/updating here and there. The location's not the best though....stuck right next to a bunch of highway intersections so it's hard to get to.

Positive experience. No complaints. ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc

The hotel is conveniently close to Dallas Love Field. My rate of $60 a night was a good value. However this is far from a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was poor at best but I did enjoy the Texas shaped waffle maker – The frozen selections of biscuits and breakfast burritos were far from taste. The WiFi was very poor and dropped me off line often – This was problematic to complete important business before and after my business meetings off site.

I had NO problems at all . Room was cleaned and very tasteful . Very nice hotel rooms !

I arrived in Dallas,TX, after a 9 hour flight. I'm female and was alone, knowing no one in TX. I was told by the car rental agent, not to stay there, it is high crime, strip joints surround it, crack sellers appear at your car windows, hookers are a plenty and worse. Orbitz refused to help me to recover any of my lost money back, so I spent my extra money on another, decent hotel, but I had to shorten my trip, due to lack of funds and to top it off, Orbitz wanted me to pay $150.00, plus their EXTRA COSTS, so I could get home sooner. You guys really suck. I won't waste my money using your service again and will advise others the same. It is so much easier to book your own flights directly, then ask at the airport for a list of their support hotels. They cut their rates in half. It very easy to rent a car from the airport. Don't use Orbitz!!!

not as close to the airport as we hoped, decent for the cost, have had better and worse rooms for more and less, overall an exceptional value for the available amenenities .i would stay and recommend the best western to family ,friends and business aquaintences.

Overall, a great hotel to stay at. It was very clean and comfortable. Just one slight oversight. There was not a variety of items to eat for breakfast. The menu choice was very limited. However, I would stay at the same hotel again! In addition, the staff was extremely helpful in assisting me with directions with the best approach to a client's address!
