Triple room, on entry looked lovely. Very spacious and good lighting. We noticed some dead flies on the ground. Decided to open a window to let some air in and noticed dead flies on the window seat. We then saw flies on the window. The window itself was absolutely filthy. It was disgusting. The bathroom ceiling had quite a lot of mould. I have attached photos. Anyone who has stayed here is aware that breakfast is served in the restaurant which is open to the public (this is something I dislike about this hotel and have stayed in blarney golf resort because of this) The staff could not cope with the volume of customers. On Saturday morning we were told it would take 10 to 15 minutes for our breakfast. 10 mins later we were told the same(very apologetic). Arrived after approximately 20 mins. Sunday morning was worse. We waited 40 minutes for our breakfast. Many people were complaining. One couple waited 1 hour and they complained to one of the staff. This staff member was going around with coffee. My friend requested a top up and the staff member was extremely rude and aggressive (obviously annoyed because of the complaint). This hotel needs to change the breakfast situation for hotel guests. Will post photos later as they are too large

Blarney is a quaint little village with a surprising range of facilities for its size. This is a fine hotel and we really enjoyed our weekend there. Friendly staff,good-sized rooms and a great breakfast. We will definitely be back!
Well, stayed here for one night. The entire hotel smells like fish, and the elevator makes you feel like it’s going to break while you’re on it. The showers are dirty, and the bed is very uncomfortable. But the staff was so nice, and went above and beyond for my family.
I’m not even sure how to put into words how pleased I am with my recent stay at the blarney Woollen Mills Mills hotel! My mother, grandmother and myself all stayed here in a room with 3 single beds which suited our needs perfectly and I’m surprised more establishments don’t offer this option! Originally booking for 2 nights we ended up extending our stay for a 3rd night everything was so outstanding we didn’t want to leave! Firstly as a group of 3 coeliacs the team couldn’t have been more accommodating with gluten free breakfasts and the most beautiful gluten free afternoon tea which we ended up indulging in twice over our stay! The staff in all areas of the hotel went above and beyond and were the most down to earth, friendly and helpful team I’ve ever encountered... they, the beautiful decor, vast amounts of things to do and places to explore locally(and being so close to the city of cork) and the amazing relaxing vibe to the hotel was exactly what we needed for our stay and we’re already planning a return visit for a longer stay. Amazing gratitude for everyone that works here as they couldn’t have made our stay any better than they did.
We just spent two days in blarney woollen mills hotel and with free parking which is a winner for us and €15 taxi to cork city great location on our arrival we had afternoon tea which for me was a first food was lovely only I couldn't get my finger in the cup not for 6ft people but the wife loved it and with Dee the waitress looking after us first class service and with Dee working in Christys bar as well see recommended the chicken wings and everything else on the menu this girl was not wrong all staff were a credit to the hotel and surrounding businesses
We availed of a special deal for our stay and had afternoon tea and breakfast included. Afternoon Tea was the best we've ever had and the coffee was really good too. It was a full meal and we enjoyed every bite (even if some of it was later that night having kept some treats for later!) Check in was a breeze and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 216. The view was to the rear of the hotel and of a working yard. The room itself was really nice. The bed was very comfortable even though I could have done with an extra pillow and there wasn't one available in the wardrobe. I could easily have rang reception to rectify this but i was too tired and managed without instead. Breakfast was really good, you order from a menu. My OH had pancakes and I had the full Irish. Both were really great. Plenty of tea/coffee and toast offered throughout. Blarney itself is on your doorstep and the castle is a short stroll through the car park and across a small road. It couldn't be easier. We didn't have dinner at the hotel. There are several restaurants just outside the hotel gates. We dined at Square Table, a Michelin awarded small restaurant with incredible prices. (I will review that separately) I would definitely love to return here again, even if it was jumping on the 215 bus from the city for an afternoon looking around the wonderful Woollen Mills shop and the large foodhall. Plenty to see here. I highly recommend this hotel.
I stayed at this hotel for one night in July. It is located in an old mill building next door to the shop, with free parking, and is just a short walk from the castle. The ground floor is given over to a large seating area that doubles as reception. The rooms on the upper floors are large, with high ceilings, and are equipped with a desk & chair, table and another chair, a TV with both Irish channels & BBC1/2/ITV/Ch4, a kettle with tea & coffee, two free small bottles of water. Only rooms with single beds were available when I checked in, and the beds were a bit too firm for my liking. The shower over the bath had good temperature & pressure, and the towels were of very good quality. The staff were very friendly, and the inclusive breakfast in the restaurant next door comprised a hot meal to order from the menu, plus a selection of cereals/fruit/yogurt/rolls, juice/tea/coffee.
Fabulous old Mill converted into a hotel.Unique open plan reception.Room we had was newly renovated and very classy,Breakfast was good menu and staff attentive and pleasant. Superb evening meal in Christy's restaurand beside hotel
only visited the shop and restaurant side of the whole complex that includes the hotel but found the restaurant very canteen style, then it is mainly for tourists. The complex is worth a visit but would not go there especially for a meal again as I found the food only average to say the least.
