No on site parking (several blocks away). A few room items missing or non-functional.

Central to everything lots to see the hotel is very clean & the staff are friendly & helpful

Only problem was getting to the hotel in rush hour traffic around 5:30 pm and being able to park in front of the hotel to unload our luggage

Prime location walking distance to many places in town. Parking was very easy.

The staff at this hotel made it one of my favorites. The hotel manager went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and interact with me on a personal level. (Joke around, get me coffee, etc) he was amazing and so was his staff. The rooms are very cute and not a bad size. Beds we're comfy! Only negative is the parking and no AC on a hot night. Some rooms have AC.. so ask. Other than the parking great stay!!

We wanted to stay another night. Bed so comfy and staff super friendly.

The hotel is nice, in a very good location,we had a very good room but at the end of our stay we had a bad experiece, so not so many stars for them this time.

We stayed at the hotel because we were attending a wedding there as well and having everything located in one spot made it convenient. The hotel staff were amazing, our bags had to be delivered since they didn't make our connection and the staff made sure they were delivered and in our rooms as soon as they arrived. We had room service a few times and anyone who has traveled internationally can tell you that is a God send. You are hungry at 2am and nothing is open cause everything closes at 5p. Their ham sandwich was delicious. The hotel is located pretty much in the heart of Cork and you can walk to anything in the city. The only downside would be parking. You have to use a car park a few blocks over and across the river, but that is somewhat to be expected in a city that was not built for cars. The wedding reception was there as well and they did a wonderful job. The food was excellent, especially the vegetable soup! We would stay here again for sure!

This hotel was super fancy and absolutely wonderful. The lobby is beautiful and the network of hallways makes it an adventure to find you room or your way out. If you have a chance to wander around, definitely do! We booked the Imperial Hotel on the bus on the way to Cork because of its convenient location to the city center/bus station and the price, which was a great deal! Upon arriving we discovered the faucet in our room was running and couldn't be turned off, on our way out we let the front desk know that they might want to have it checked out and when we got back after sightseeing they have upgraded us to a suite so the plumber didn't disturb us! Overall, beautiful hotel, helpful staff, and definitely perfect for anyone who is looking for a romantic weekend getaway!

Great location, friendly staff and will visit again!

walking distance to outdoor mall and close to many restaurants

The hotel itself was nice and I would rate average as far as appearance and rooms. The customer service however was beyond exceptional! The front desk staff were wonderful, Fiona even helped us by calling and keeping us posted on our bag status when one was lost by the rental car company.

Okay at best. Traveled from Dublin through Cork and on to Galway. Imperial was least favorite of the hotels along the way.

I was at Imperial for the International Academy of Nursing, 29-31 July. The signage for the event was poor-- and steps not friendly at all for people with handicaps. Meeting room had just chairs--- no conference tables. The opening event in the bar was poorly planned. Standing room for most. Hot, crowded, hard to get to the bar. Couldn't hear speakers. Obviously, the event staff and the hotel could have done better planning. Lighting in the room so dim, that reading was a challenge.

Beautiful hotel great location We were there when weather was about 50degrees F The room was very hot and I was told that because there is no air conditioning there was nothing to be done . Sleeping difficult room faced back it was quiet no view and much too hot at night difficulty sleeping. Wonderful concierges Duncan and Tim were very helpful and kind!!,
