Location was great. Had a.sonderful.time in Cork

The hotel was serviceable with lots of food options available nearby. It was an easy walk to the train station.

Lovely hotel in a great location. They are within walking distance of the train station and the city center. Right by lots of restaurants and shopping and right by a hop on hop off bus stop. Only complaint I have is that the pillows were terrible and the beds weren't very comfy. The room was otherwise fantastic. Fantastic Irish breakfast - definitely don't pass that up.

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. The only downside is that our shower didn't drain very well and the hot water didn't work in the sink.

Overall great experience at the Metropole: 1-room was a bit outdated; carpet loose and interesting shower 2-fridge in room! 3-heated towel rack was fun! 4-parking available for extra 7.50 a day 5-restaurant/bar was very convienent and good 6-spa was nice but make you wear hair caps to swim :( 7-gym available too! 7-all staff members very polite and helpful

I stayed in 4 different hotels when I visited Ireland earlier this year, and this one was the best. Hotel and room were clean and it had modern amenities. Staff a little slow to attend to guests, but overall good experience.

The Metropole is walking distance from the railroad station and around the corner from the direct bus to Dublin airport. All of Cork's central city attractions are close by. It's an old building, and some of the rooms are quite small, but everything is thoroughly clean and well maintained. Great breakfast, late night bar and friendly, competent staff. Wi-fi works great in the rooms.

Our stay here was pretty good. The location was decent - a short walk to what little nightlife there is in the city of Cork. The room was small and plain, although the bathroom was quite nice and looked like it had been recently redone. No complaints about the place, really. It is a simple accommodation, but the price was right.

Good overall

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was close to the bus station for easy travel.
