attended a college event last weekend at the hotel and had to write this review , the staff were absolutely amazing but I had the pleasure of having an amazing waitress at my table Emma ,she went above and beyond for our table and made us feel like the number one priority for the night ! Only sorry we didn't get to tip her . The night was amazing and I would definitely recommend a night in the radisson blu

Had a fantastic stay in the hotel recently with my husband staff were friendly and helpful with lovely food. The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Will definitely be back.

The hotel staff are lovely, friendly and professional. Room was very nice, tastefully decorated and very clean. Hotel itself is spacious and welcoming. Didn't get to use the spa facilities so cannot comment on them. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Recently stayed in the Radisson Blu, Little Island, Cork for 2 nights, 2 adults 3 kids - highly recommend this hotel, super facilities, pool was amazing, staff were incredible friendly & great with our kids, especially Emanuel @ check-in, really pleasant and friendly, he was very helpful to us. Our room was suite style, very clean and the layout was super - lots of space for crawling babies :) Location of hotel is prefect with lots for families things to do close by (Air-Tastic, 5 mins walk away) Kids club also available at the hotel, Cannot recommend this hotel enough 10 out of 10 - We will definitely be back soon. Super hotel. First visit and receptionist on duty very friendly and helpful. Got a business class room which was huge. The beds were SO comfortable- great nights sleep. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. One corner especially for children with pancake machine and kid friendly choices. Great choice of breakfast dishes. Nespresso machine in the room was a bonus. Upon check out the same receptionist enquiring as to how far we had to travel gave us complimentary bottles of water. Really nice touch. We’ll be back.

The hotel is ideally situated from the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was excellent and the range of options outstanding. Would highly recommend the hotel for business or pleasure.

We booked this hotel last minute while travelling to Cork on a spontaneous weekend break. The hotel had our room ready for us on arrival even though we had only booked it 30 minutes before that. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and the staff friendly. Our room was spacious, warm and spotless. We also used the pool/steam room facilities and they were great. The location is good but still a 10 minute drive into the city centre. We booked this hotel through an app called "hotel tonight" and got it at a lower rate, which was great. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed here while attending a wedding, when we first arrive the room we were given at first was made up as a twin. We mentioned this to the reception and they quickly offered to switch our room and move our things into a another room, letting us enjoy the rest of our evening. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Really don't have any complaints. The breakfast had an extensive choice in the morning. The drinks reception was held in the older building which was perfect for the occasion and while it has been updated it still retains bags of character.

I stayed here on business last month, The rooms are large and have good coffee making facilities which is essential! Rooms were clean although the bathroom had an odd smell that eventually left after a few hours. Staff were very friendly which I have come to expect with any Radisson Hotel. Will stay here again.

Attending a conference during the week at the hotel, I decided to stay the night before also. Firstly, a friend driving me out the significant distance from the city centre, in the dark the hotel gate is inexplicably very poorly signed, and you have to be paying quite close attention. The carpark, up a significant driveway from that gate, is very poorly lit, and also designed for those who know where they're going, not a first time guest. I was taken aback by the size of my room, which had a load of space, but whilst the bathroom was very attractive, the decor of the room itself was cold and charmless. Once past inside the door, the room was very poorly lit also, curious, considering that it's advertised as a business room. Being on a work-related trip, however, any lack of character did not concern me, as the place was spotless and I had a most comfortable night's sleep: with daylight, the massive windows ensured the opposite on the light scale come morning. The only substantial complaint that I could find with the room was the water pressure of the shower, which was quite disappointing. Down at breakfast I found the selection available most satisfactory, and I enjoyed everything that I got, from fresh fruit to pastries. The previous night I had eaten in the bar, and whilst the order was mixed up (wrong toppings on pizza), it was quite tasty. What sums up the hotel was observing the people at breakfast: it was people on their own, looking at laptops. This is a business hotel, and not one which you should consider for a trip of leisure - be it family or romance - at all. It is not suitable for a visit to the city, and even if you did wish to be outside the centre, this is an industrial estate. It suited my needs perfectly, but the rate I was charged was not rock bottom either. It catered for the conference perfectly, but I could not imagine it for a wedding, and I do hear it advertised for such. I don't drive, so another aspect is accessibilty via public transport, and it is quite close to a train station. Alas the problem isn't once you get outside the hotel gate, it is getting to the hotel gate. It is a good stretch, and one not entirely serviced by footpath. With that appalling lighting it could potentially be quite hazardous were you pulling your suitcase out on a winter's evening post-seminar. The staff were all perfectly pleasant and professional. It was clean, I slept and I found the breakfast good, so it served my needs as a lone traveller on a work trip perfectly, and that is really who the hotel is aimed at - those visiting the surrounding industrial estate.
