The staff was AMAZING… the Bellevue spa Was LOVELY and we travelled with our 3 year old (we are a mid 30s couple from Boston) and she LOVED the pool. The staff would bring everything right away no matter what you called and asked for, extra towels, espresso pods, robes- you name it!! They were all so kind, pleasant, and helpful… I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE who tells me that they are coming to Cork. The only caveat would be that they don’t let kids in the pool past 6pm, children aren’t allowed in the terrace outdoor bar (which is a super bummer bc most of the seating is outdoors with breathtaking views) and children aren’t allowed in the theater. Definitely not the most child friendly place, but that is my only complaint

Staff was nice and helpful. Unfortunately the air in the room was stuffy and needed fresh air. Air conditioner would have made the stay much nicer. Our dinner was very good. There wasn’t enough parking.

The property was beautiful. The staff (every one of them) was extremely helpful, attentive and polite. The view from the bar overlooking town was beautiful. Room size was adequate. (We had 3 people).

Probably the best overall hotel that I've stayed at to date. We were greeted very warmed by Ken. Such a kind and helpful man, my shy kids even felt comfortable asking him questions. The entire staff was very kind and helpful. Always checking on you as you walked by. The property itself is stunning and fairly priced for all the amazing amenities. Can't say enough good thing about this hotel. High praise from the kids too.

The grounds and setting are amazing. Our dinner server was a little up tight and did not help us enjoy the evening as much as we had hoped. We had a big dinner with drinks, a bottle of wine etc. He seemed overly concerned about ordering the food before kitchen closed.

Beautiful view over the river above the city. Easy onsite parking. Fabulous breakfast and cocktail balcony with views over the city. A bit of a walk down to the city, but a quick taxi ride back if needed.

Front office staff at check in gave me a room on the ground floor but as my friend was on the 3rd floor the manager graciously changed my room to the 3rd floor. Very nice room and view. Thanks very much!

Fabulous stay at the Montenotte in Cork. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were beautifully appointed, with really fun and chic decor; we had lovely views over the city of Cork and environs. Excellent breakfast included and tasty in-house gin for late night cocktails. Easy walk down the hill into city center of Cork and easy to get back to the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the Montenotte. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of amenities, although a bit warm and stuffy without air-con, so I found it a bit difficult to sleep. To their credit a fan is provided but they can be a bit noisy. The hotel has beautiful grounds and a nice restaurant and bars. Parking was a bit busy and we did struggle once or twice. Overall we really like the hotel ambiance and decor.

Gorgeous hotel with fantastic staff

The staff are fantastic in the Montenotte. Couldn’t fault them. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The service was great. Loved the cinema, beautiful decor, gorgeous panorama bar and cocktail lounge. Will definitely be back again.

The staff was fantastic and so accommodating. I had chocolates and water next to the night stand every night. I had issues with my card when I arrived after an overnight flight. I was exhausted after a long flight and arrived around 11 am. They called housekeeping and got my room ready early so that I could rest and told me we would sort out the card after I had time to rest. Unbelievable customer service and all done with a smile. Would definitely stay there again. Great job!
