All you need to think is that you are worth it!! Location is great, rooms are fab., breakfast to die for and staff second to none. A truly 5 star experience. Thanks to all the staff for making this a memorable experience.

I had stayed here before and really enjoyed that stay but I had some issues this time which I felt let it down and as a result probably won't be in a hurry back. On the upsides the staff are very nice and helpful. Our room 326 was nice, but bed was lumpy. Which was a let down for a 5 star. We ate in bar and while it was nice we did find the bar drafty. The prices are also very steep. While you expect to pay over the odds in a 5 star property for the service etc I didn't feel that they were warranted. We ate dinner in the bistro and the food was lovely, but do expect to pay more than a normal restaurant of this quality. Breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn't have been nicer, really top quality. This was the highlight of the stay. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed out stay but I doubt it will be a first choice for future. Overall

It was pure relaxation staying in the Hayfield Manor & we felt very spoilt by the staff from start to finish. The food was also great & it was such a lovely touch to have a Christmas tree in our room.

Just back from family wedding so glad my daughter Gemma and son in law Dennis choose hayfield manor for their special day it was such a perfect day can't fault it in any way it is such a beautiful place to have a wedding attention to detail was superb John looked looked after them so well he was so friendly and professional and did an excellent job. The food was incredible can't praise them enough .Frank o Connell is excellent at his job pure gentle man very friendly was extremely helpful as where all the staff would highly recommend this five star hotel and will be back for more great service thank you all for making this special day so special

We enjoyed a night in Hayfield just before Christmas. The place was nicely decorated. Food and drinks were food and staff very friendly. It is a place with character and for that reason a nice change from the more modern style 5 star hotels.

I stayed for one night at Hayfield Manor and it was a wonderful experience. It was such a treat. The hotel is beautiful and the Christmas decorations made it special. It was a very relaxing enjoyable stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is expensive but worth it for the experience. A very luxurious escape.

Hayfield is without doubt my favourite hotel in Ireland for a couples retreat. From The friendly welcome to the gorgeous rooms and food I can't fault it. Excellent 5 star customer service, easy check in and beautiful surroundings this hotel is 5 star and more.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at this fabulous hotel. The stay was perfect in every way. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel spoiled us. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The eggs benedict with smoked salmon is over the top. It is a pleasant easy walk to the city center and Fort Elizabeth which we found most interesting. Looking forward to a stay on our next trip to Ireland.

Hayfield Manor was really great - a warm, friendly atmosphere, efficient staff and a small but relaxing spa. While our room was a little drab, the rest of the hotel was lovely. There are lots of places to sit and relax with a drink and a book, including the bar, library and the big cosy armchairs beside the fire breakfast is superb.

On arrival we were asked had we stayed before ....since it was our first visit we were directed down a corridor into a room a best described as " tired and in need of tlc " ....close by administrative staff were working and you could hear work going on close by...after a swift co mplaint we were guided by the concierge to a much improved and modern room....why did it take a complaint to improve things ...had we been quiet and accepting we would have been left festering in dissatisfaction...disappointed in spa also , on arrival reception was unmanned which meant I had to go to the main reception to get service, there were towels strewn around the pool area..breakfast was good..afternoon tea was lovely and dinner was faultless...largely down to the very professional and genuinely nice staff...to surmise overall not a 5* experience, I felt undervalued , it also felt like all rooms were to be occupied regardless of standard and I was the unlucky one to be offered in my opinion a sub standard room....love to hear back
