This was a great place to gather family for our granddaughter's graduation. The views were amazing. Staff was helpful and courteous. The dining room was convenient. I have no complaints.

Area is nice with some easy trails to walk/hike with our kids. Property restaurant was carry out only and we just ordered breakfast once, it was ok.

I loved that the staff brought us a new can opener. Nice surprise since the first 2 didnt work. The toilet was clogged and had to try and plunge it after each use. The fireplace didnt work properly, but maintenance came and fixed it for a few hours. Stink bugs were awful. We called the front desk multiple times with no answer. I spent Sunday night in the ER and was trying to get a later checkout... noone answered. We love visiting there, but this time was a bit disappointing.

I loved the cabin in the woods feel. Shower head lacked luster.

It was a very nice setting. Nice views, quiet. Great place, even in the off season.

Very private cottages just beautiful place to take a nice relaxing weekend.

Secluded and peaceful. Pretty view from room. Great place to relax and wind down.

Beautiful setting. Southern hospitality at it's best!

Dining room was extremely cold. Otherwise clean and comfortable with strong WiFi. Beautiful setting! Comfortable stay...

Very friendly staff. Rooms were very clean but a little dated. Logde was beautiful. The state park has multiple trails. I would like to return in the summer to take advantage of the pool . Dining room and buffet were nice.

We stayed in one of the few cabin available, very secluded with immediate access to hiking trails. The cabins were built in the 30s when this, the first state park in KY was opened. We were looking for lodging close to the Cumberland Gap National Park (and this is), but Pine Mountain State Park was an awesome byproduct of that plan.

A crazy winding road up to the lodge but, fun. Found out later there is another way to the lodge that only takes about 6 minutes. Incredible view of the mountains. The lodge is older but, very nice. The room had wood and tile floors, comfy bed, and was clean. We ate at the lodge. The food and service was very good. They have a salad bar to start the meal which was nice.

Very nice place, room was great with a nice view from the balcony.

Nice place! I would go back another time since it was raining all weekend, so we din't get to enjoy much.

Arrived late afternoon to learn at check-in that the dining room was closed and on a winter schedule which meant no meals served on Monday through Wednesday -- the days we were there. To put this in context, this is a state park in a lovely setting about 10 miles from any town. Continental breakfast was to be served -- that consisted of sausage biscuits, orange juice coffee. That's it. To eat lunch or dinner, a drive was necessary ten miles into town and ten miles back -- with only fast food available. No real restaurants. So twice a day -- lunch and dinner -- to be able to eat one must drive 20 miles. I felt sorry for the staff because they had just learned from management of the winter hours starting that day and the dining room was closed. They did have a cottage available so changed from the lodge to a cottage so at least we had a refrigerator and microwave, etc. once we could get into town to get groceries. The staff did all they could to make our stay comfortable -- but who wants to drive 110 miles only to learn you have to get back in your car and drive another 10 to 20 miles to find food???? And only fast food available. Management should make this sort of decision at least a month ahead to allow people making reservations to know what they are getting into -- not find out after arriving. I am sure staying here during the summer is great as it is beautiful in this location. But, I would never go there again or recommend it in the winter.

I love coming here. It's my second time here and we loved it. Other than the double beds being to small for my husband and me the room and hotel staff are excellent. The view from the restaurant was amazing. We had a great stay!

It was Enjoyable and the food was good! We stayed four day but that wasn't enough.
