Hotel was clean. Beds very comfortable! Near highway, but we did not hear it at all! Staff was friendly. Not a bad ride to Fort Benning. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Dunkin' Donuts nearby which a New Englander needs! Breakfast was adequate.
We stayed at this hotel when we traveled from Pennsylvania to our son's graduation from Basic Training at Ft Benning. It is a fairly short drive to the base from the hotel. The ladies at the front desk were VERY accommodating, allowing us to check in much earlier than their normal time of 3:00 pm. The parking lot was a bit small but quite adequate, and immediately adjacent to the hotel - less walking! The hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated, and our suite was terrific with comfy beds and plenty of towels. Breakfast is available each morning in the dining room off the lobby, with choices for every diet. The gazebo/charcoal grills/picnic tables on the grounds allowed us to "cook out" - a spontaneous dinner of "shrimp boil" that we also shared with the desk staff! My favorite part was the swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after Georgia's hot July weather. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to travel to Columbus.
Easy to find right off the interstate. Walked in and was greeted by a super friendly lady behind the counter. Check in was easy and fast. Room was clean and smelled nice. Bathroom was big. Close to food and shopping.
Clean rooms. No bugs. Breakfast is nasty. Mattress is to old. Refused to give a 2pm check out even though it's choices late check out policy. Had nothing to do in this dumpy town for a hour. Hotel was not crowded. They do have good coffee and put cookies out at night. Depends what your needs are.
My wife and I were on our way back from Jacksonville, Florida to Birmingham, Alabama. It was around 10Pm we needed to get off the road so we found Comfort Suites. We got a King Suite with a Spa Tub. It was $99 before taxes. The staff were amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable! The the breakfast looked great but we got up to late to eat anything. I would stay again if visiting the area!!
We had such an amazing time! The staff was so friendly and catered to us like we were VIP. I was so surprised by just how great they were. I thought with a cheaper hotel you would get lesser service but that was absolutely not the case. The breakfast was phenomenal; my children love being able to wake up and rush to get in there. My room was up to par. It was just a great stay in all. Thank you guys so much. I had to download this tripadviser app to be able to leave this review but i just thought it was worth relaying. We will definitely be back.
I recently stayed here at Comfort Suites and i feel like i got a good value for what i paid. The room was a lot bigger than i expected and i loved the bacon & eggs for breakfast. Being so close to shops, restaurants, and the freeway was also very convenient. The manager, Amy, was very helpful with questions and directions i had. I'd recommend this hotel.
I'm staying at the Comfort Suite in Columbus for the first time tonight. When I first arrived I had a difficult time trying to park my full size truck. The parking is a little tight and more suited for small cars. There's only one entrance and exit to the property and the direction of traffic can get congested. Once I checked in which was your standard check in procedure as you would expect at any choice hotel property I went to my room. When I went into the room I was glad to see that the air conditioner was turned on and lowered to a comfortable setting. The room seemed fine in terms of overall quality and cleanliness. The bathroom was okay other than the door on it look like somebody tried to kick it in and was busted along the handle area. The bed was not comfortable either and was on the extra firm side. The biggest issue I had with this hotel was the internet. I tried repeatedly to connect. I contacted the front desk for assistance and still was not able to connect to the internet. I've stayed at numerous Comfort Suites, dozens of Choice Properties, and over a hundred hotels and tonight was the first time I could not connect to the internet after trying everything there is to try. This is a deal-breaker to me as one of the most important things of staying at a hotel in this age is having a good solid internet connection and not have issues when trying to log on. I'm not sure what the problem was but it needs to be fixed. I'm pretty sure the router needed to be restarted but that's my opinion. Would I stay here again? I doubt it. The beds are not comfortable enough and I couldn't connect to the internet, both of which are my top two reasons for selecting a hotel to begin with. If You're Expecting the newer style Comfort Suites property this isn't it unfortunately. I haven't stayed at another hotel in Columbus to give a better recommendation and hope my review has helped you and if it has I would appreciate a helpful vote This Hotel is not the worst but it certainly is not the best either.
The hotel was nice and very affordable. We were visiting family in the area and this hotel was conveniently located. Close to shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast while at the hotel.
The staff here was excellent !! In town for a graduation and it was not too far from Ft.Benning. Location close to mall and lots of food options close by. Pool was great!! Will definitely be returning!!!!!!
