I'm staying at the Comfort Suite in Columbus for the first time tonight. When I first arrived I had a difficult time trying to park my full size truck. The parking is a little tight and more suited for small cars. There's only one entrance and exit to the property and the direction of traffic can get congested. Once I checked in which was your standard check in procedure as you would expect at any choice hotel property I went to my room. When I went into the room I was glad to see that the air conditioner was turned on and lowered to a comfortable setting. The room seemed fine in terms of overall quality and cleanliness. The bathroom was okay other than the door on it look like somebody tried to kick it in and was busted along the handle area. The bed was not comfortable either and was on the extra firm side. The biggest issue I had with this hotel was the internet. I tried repeatedly to connect. I contacted the front desk for assistance and still was not able to connect to the internet. I've stayed at numerous Comfort Suites, dozens of Choice Properties, and over a hundred hotels and tonight was the first time I could not connect to the internet after trying everything there is to try. This is a deal-breaker to me as one of the most important things of staying at a hotel in this age is having a good solid internet connection and not have issues when trying to log on. I'm not sure what the problem was but it needs to be fixed. I'm pretty sure the router needed to be restarted but that's my opinion. Would I stay here again? I doubt it. The beds are not comfortable enough and I couldn't connect to the internet, both of which are my top two reasons for selecting a hotel to begin with. If You're Expecting the newer style Comfort Suites property this isn't it unfortunately. I haven't stayed at another hotel in Columbus to give a better recommendation and hope my review has helped you and if it has I would appreciate a helpful vote This Hotel is not the worst but it certainly is not the best either.

The hotel was nice and very affordable. We were visiting family in the area and this hotel was conveniently located. Close to shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast while at the hotel.

The staff here was excellent !! In town for a graduation and it was not too far from Ft.Benning. Location close to mall and lots of food options close by. Pool was great!! Will definitely be returning!!!!!!

The service at this motel was more than exceptional. My wife and I enjoyed 4 days with their talented and friendly staff. The room was immaculate. They have a very nice pool. We hope to visit again soon. It was worth every penny. Dedinayely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel. You get way more than you pay for at this hotel. 5 🌟!!

I mentioned noise because the room window was only a few yards from the interstate. Nothing to my knowledge can be done about it but it was distracting. The internet was in and out all weekend long. Most of the time it worked well but other times it would not even open email. There did not appear to be enough parking for the size of the facility. Partially because the large sign for the hotel had just been blown down in a near tornado. It was still in the parking lot and took several parking places. Again, not much could have been done about it. I understand the circumstances and I am sure it will be taken care of as soon as possible. If I am ever in Columbus again I will happily stay here again. It is a great location to be if you are just checking out the sights.

Staff was professionally friendly except for 2 that standout--CINDY from Housekeeping and the young lady who checked us out (don't remember her name but the initials on the receipt are cturpi. These two actually made you feel welcome and like old friends. Cindy jumped in to set up Sunday breakfast since the usual person wasn't there and the "check out lady" was so helpful with directions. Updates for stained carpet rooms & dining area, ceilings with water stains especially dining area, rooms thoroughly cleaned window sills, door jams, facets everything not just dusted. OWNER/HEADQUARTERS need to be on their toes these items are YOUR responsibility you need to set bar and let them know what YOU expect.

We arrived at the Comfort Suites a few days after terrible storms roared through the area destroying their sign (it was in pieces in the parking lot) and a/c that was problematic in areas. That being said, we were surprised to see a smiling, friendly front desk person who welcomed us in. We were warned about the a/c, which was only out in the hallways, and were accommodated with a smile when we asked for a high floor. Our room was clean, cool and updated with flat screen tv as well as a sofa for relaxing. (We had a king suite). We were there for three days and service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was fresh and clean and waiting for us each day upon our return. We did have breakfast there one day and it was fine. It included bacon, cheese omelettes, biscuits, pastries, yogurt, etc. They also had fresh citrus water and cookies daily. So why is it not a 5? Mostly due to the highway noise. It did not bother us as we are heavy sleepers but it could definitely bother a light sleeper. I think this could be remedied by taking a room on the back side of the hotel. The positives so greatly outweigh the negatives here so it gets my high recommendation as a great little place to lay your head.

We stayed 3 nights for Fort Benning's Family Weekend. Our stay was really nice, and the bed was exceptional. I could hear the traffic on the interstate at times, but it was not bothersome and certainly did not keep me awake. You may want to ask for a room away from the interstate. We would definitely stay again. One thing I noticed about it, however, is the double rooms have double beds instead of queens. When our family travels, we try to stay where they have queen beds. On this trip we had a King bed suite as it was just two of us.

This hotel is mostly good, but there was a lot of traffic noise in the room and it was constant. We turned on the fan and that helped. The elevator floor was a bit sticky and dirty, but otherwise, the place was fine. Those things can happen. The people at the desk were friendly and the room was comfortable. We stayed in six Choice hotels on this trip, and this one had the very best breakfast of them all. The cheese eggs were very good and they had crisp bacon - the only place we had bacon. There was also biscuits and gravy and other things. This was a good place to stay and reasonable at $80 including tax.

I made my reservation through the Choice Hotels website and check-in was quick. The staff was friendly and profession and very helpful in suggesting restaurants. I found my room to be clean, the bed was comfortable and well made. The breakfast area feature the usual cereals, pastries, eggs with a meat, juice and coffee. The breakfast area was well stocked and attended throughout the advertised times. The only issue was with the wifi, which was a little slow and dropped out a couple time. Other than that this is a good, clean hotel with reasonable rate. I would consider staying at this property again when in the Columbus area.
