All hotels in area fully booked due to concert. Rates quadrupled normal weekend rate yet did not have staff to clean rooms in timely manner. Room not available for more than an hour past check in time so that we were unable to use room prior to concert. One person cleaning entire floor. If you are going to book the rooms be prepared with staff to clean them.

The front desk was not prepared for check-ins, the room was very dirty and needed repairs. Half the lights didn’t work, no trash can, had to ask for wash cloths, stained sheets, broken down beds, chairs had holes, floor was so dirty we wore our shoes the whole time.

Redroof SOS!!!

Staff was friendly? And room was awful! The door was clearly kicked in at one point and lock was broke and trim was busted really bad. That should have been an immediate fix. Ceiling light was dangling like it was about to fall. Some lights didn’t work and gfi outlets didn’t work and busted. Stains on sheets and there was a substance all over the ironing board. The room wasn’t that clean at all. The neighbors toilet didn’t work. Other people were complaining about their rooms as well. That place needs some serious tlc. If we weren’t 4 hours away from home and had another option we would have left. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog.

We checked in and got our room key. We unlocked our room and we looked to the right of the doorway. We see live cockroaches on the wall interior of the room! We said nope! Went to the front desk because no way are we staying in a cockroaches infested room and requested a refund, they said nope. Manager refuses to give the refund. Luckily rooms were available at a near by hotel and they had no cockroaches in the room.

One of the night clerks is very friendly and helpful. The Other clerk has a rather usual reaction to dogs in a motel listed as pet friendly. I stayed for a week with my dog. We left every dog by 6:30 and came back about 9:30 p.m. One day my Old Black Labrador came in without his leash. She told me the dog MUST be on a leash at all times. I said OK and held his collar. She continued to explain that if he didn't have his leash, she has the right to kick me OUT. Ok. Then she explained that she was making a note of the dog to avoid having the maid scared. I explained that we were gone by 6:30 am and didn't return until late and BTW the maid didn't come in ONCE in that week. I had to get soap and towels from the front desk. She told me it didn't matter. The dog must be leashed or she would have the police come take me out. I thought the whole approach was needlessly aggressive for a lab.

Avoid at all costs- and it wasn’t even that cheap!

We now know Red Roof Inn uses stock pictures or we NEVER would have booked this hotel. It is mainly a residential hotel. Not maintained. Not clean. Stained sheets. Stained towels. Stained bathtub. Moldy bathroom ceiling. No glasses. Disgusting floor. Traveling with a Working Dog, who always sleeps on the floor- I commanded her o to the bed and would not allow her to lie on the floor. Extremely disappointed with Red Roof and Hotels.com.
