We stayed here for 15 days as part our first visit to US. Nice service and good to have amenities for basic stay. Overall good experience. Some restaurants are nearby and Shuttle service is great advantage for shopping and other purposes.
The one week experience here started bad with them not having my prepaid reservation in their computer system. This took 2 hours and one night in a room and having to move on day 2 to our requested (paid for) accommodations. The ac/heating made noise all night, the room does not come with kitchen accessories, you have to ask for them at the front desk (for two in our room, we got 2 plates, 2 forks, 1 glass and 1bowl. You have to ask for dish soap (small one use packets) and the grab and go breakfast is a muffin or granola bar (doled out at the front desk, one per customer). The odor of mold or mildew in the bathroom was awful and did not decrease with leaving the fan on all day, while we were away.
This is the most basic of rooms you could imagine. Everything is just ok. Nothing feels new, but its not gross either. I did not use the kitchen. Extended Stay, so no room cleaning every day like a standard hotel. Fairly secure (key entry afterhours was not working - anyone could walk right in) The location is good as its close to major roads in the suburbs. There is free Wifi which seemed to be working fine. The front desk always had a sign on it that the person had stepped away (even when they were there - which was rarely) I was not told about any sort of shuttle (Im reading about that now in the reviews) that would have been extremely helpful. I was woken up the first night by the VERY noisy air conditioner, so had to switch it to "fan" so I could sleep. Second night, chain in toilet broke, and there was no one to fix it until 7am the next morning. While the woman at the desk (who was unprofessionally telling anyone who would listen that she was freshly back after 3 months away) offered to switch my room (after I had to call her twice), I wasnt about to pack up all my stuff at midnight to switch rooms. Instead, I got the key to the other room and had to sneak down the hall in the middle of the night every time I had to use the bathroom (I have not been offered any sort of compensation for this embarrassing inconvenience). The third night, I tried to do the same thing with the a/c and accidentally switched it to "low heat" and went back to sleep. Next thing you know my smoke alarm was going off because the unit was smoking! Had to open the windows to clear the room. Needless to say, not the best room for a good night's sleep!! For some reason there were piles of dirty linens out in the hallways. There is only one elevator, so you have to share it with the people transporting the garbage, dirty dishes and dirty laundry. This is a hotel for when you need one in this area (and cant be picky), and you need an affordable price.
My Boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights! Their beds were super comfortable, which is rare to find at hotels. We were very content with everything! We will definitely be coming back for sure. Excellent service. Theyre also very decently priced.
We stayed there for 3 weeks and it was the most memorable stay as it was our 1st visit to USA....it was a memory to cherish....staff was very helpful also..specially Dough....he made our stay more comfortable coz he took us for grocery shopping..you are a gem person Dough...the outside view of the hotel was marvelous....scenic...overall a very Gud exp....
My family of six and I had the unfortunate privilege of staying in two rooms for a few days during the first week of July 2016. As soon as we walked into both rooms, a strong smell of dirty sweaty feet combined with Dorito chips knocked us back. The smell was absolutely repulsive. We were so tired after a 12 hour drive from Atlanta and had no energy to search for another hotel. My poor kids had to endure. The front desk attendant offered us fabreze to kill the smell. Sadly, it didn't help. His hands were tied because there were no other rooms left for the night nor housekeepers to help further. Stay at your own risk.
Had nice stay for 10 days, Hotel has micro kitchen and nice cozy bed. For the money you spend per night I feel it is worth it. Best thing ever happened to us, we met best person on earth "Dough". He was always there to take us to wall mart, fresh farms and office. This world needs more people like him. Overall very good experience.
It has standard rooms with kitchenette attached thus becomes a good option if you re planning to put up for more than a month. Naturally the rates go down as the stay is extended (but booked in advance). No food service is provided by the facility, however, some useful joints are just across the road. The area is quite open and quite silent except for the whizz of an occasional car on the street across. Taxi service can be used on call. Laundry is self service. Does not have an area for recreation.
First upon my arrival the front desk agent was gone and I waited over 15 mins until anyone was around to check me in. Then I get to my room and the door handle was BROKEN. I then proceeded to call the front desk for 30 mins till I finally got ahold of someone to change rooms. Get put into another room but the front desk agent obviously didn't make note that she changed my room because a couple hours later someone tried to come into my room. Lucky it was locked and they weren't able to get in. Then dealing with another employee of the hotel very rude asking me if I belong here and why I was in this room. Overall was a very terrible experience and they are poorly run.
I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and one of the best thing about the hotel is the shuttle service. This is specially helpful to people like me who have offices nearby. The shuttle other than taking you to office also does run to fresh farms on Tuesday and Walmart on Thursday. The driver Doug is very friendly and helpful. The amenities are good... Although the room could have had better maintenance. The bedding was also a little worn out but other than that everything else was good. While checkout I forgot my credit card at the hotel reception but the hotel was good enough to keep it safe and then mailed it to my family s address on Chicago.. Special thanks to Greg and staff for this. All in all hotel is good with clean spacious rooms.... Worth the money spent
