Came in for an overnight stay. Outside looks OK but looks are deceiving! Bathroom so disgusting that my family refused to shower. Couldn't get a different room because they claimed that they were sold out. Lies. People literally live there monthly. Trashiest place that I've ever stayed!! Turned our trip into a NIGHTMARE!
After reading not so good mixed (and old) reviews, I decided to stay at this place anyhow, because it actually had three queen beds in a room, which was exactly what we needed so that everyone had their own bed and none had to sleep on a "rollaway". I will say, the room was CLEAN, it was basic, but had all the necessities. The toilet and shower were separate from the vanity (which I love), so no one had to "wait for the bathroom" to finish getting ready. I constantly saw a woman cleaning rooms, and they were doing some work to the concrete outside. We had a second floor, but there was an elevator and that was fine. I will commend the owner - my ex woke in a diabetic reaction and though they only had a drink vending machine, he gave me some candy and things to help. I am glad I took the old reviews with a grain of salt. The staff were all friendly and helpful and there was nothing wrong at all with our clean room. The beds were very comfy also.
I think this hotel is not so well kept....needs to do better. Improve on better quality. After day, my guests that stayed here weren't happy with the mattresses. Room inspections needs to be done daily.
Horrible and dirty! We refused to stay there after we saw how disgusting our room was (and the shady neighborhood), and when we talked to the front desk (via phone) they hung up on us. Don't waste your money!!
I stayed at the hotel for several months for a local job. The cost was economical for the room. Included was a microwave, refrigerator, iron and coffee maker. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating.
I had to stay at the hotel for an extended period of time. The rooms are cleaned once a week. Whenever needed, the hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are adequate. The hotel is centrally located between Great Lakes Naval Base and Six Flags. You won't find another hotel for the price.
This hotel was not great but we weren't expecting much. We just needed a cheap place to stay that could accommodate 5 of us and this was the only one. We were only sleeping there for the night so we weren't looking for anything spectacular. We are used to staying in better places though so it was very much not like we were used to. Bathroom had an odor. TV channels that my kids would have liked were all in Spanish for some dumb reason. No English options for those channels. Coffee tasted like water. The windows all opened!! I couldn't believe it! Even the second story windows. They opened just easily and there were no screens. Very dangerous! I can't even believe they are allowed to have the windows that way. It definitely is not as its name implies "Executive Inn & Suites".
"The worst hotel ever" We didn't even make reservations for a room. We were asked to fill out a information card then paid for our room. The bathroom had a odor there were towels on the floor and the yellow shower curtain was filthy with stains at the bottom of it. They didn't even bother washing the ironing board cover it was dirty with black stains on it. The room was dark and the microwave and refrigerator was dirty. We weren't in that room for than two minutes and decided to get our money back and leave. We told the guy at the service desk we were leaving and wanted our money back. He said he had to charge us a $25 booking fee which we never booked the hotel in the first place it was a walk in. He charged us $25 dollars anyway we got the rest of our money and left. Don't be fooled by the website and the exterior of this hotel it's very deceiving. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
So so on cleanliness in room, towels are horrible, light bulb out in bathroom and told some would be coming to change (explains cleanliness in bathroom unless they used a flashlight). Changing to Candlewood Suites this weekend for only $5 more a night. Inexpensive but they could at least care since they appear to live here too.
The worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Upon questioning the charging of my credit card after an agreement made for a cancelation, I was hung up on. I called back only to be told there was no manager there to authorize a refund. A refund that the hotel agreed to. And after reading the other reviews I am glad I didnt stay there.
