We went to Williamsburg looking for a cold Christmas time. We got it here, but in a very cozy way. We all liked our upgraded suite, which has really everything you need to feel yourself like home. The hotel is in an exit with low traffic, so very fast accessible all the time. Everything very clean, heater and A/A, full stove + microwave, pantry, laundry machines, 2 bed, 2 full baths, family room, breakfast bar, separated dinner room, 3 TVs, etc. Really, all you need for you an your kids to have a wonderful time. We enjoyed very much.
Awesome place, up to date. A ton of amenities, bowling, miniature golf. Lacking good food, seems under staffed at times. But rooms will filled and you couldn’t tell. Close to Busch Gardens 18 minutes, they offer a shuttle.
As soon as we entered the grounds, we knew that this would be a great experience.; We only expected a motel but got much more, including a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and much more. The grounds as well as the unit in which we stayed, were extremely clean. The people in the reception area were all extremely friendly and helpful. We will without a doubt stay here again!
the resort is about 5 miles from center of town. take rt 60 from hotel and you will pass all the restaurants (less expensive than in williamsburg museum area-though the kings arm is a nice experience) Everyone was nice; i was asked to attend 1 1/2 hr presentation(which i knew) and they would gift me $150. talked to sales folks, dir, etc and after 2 1/2 hrs insisted on no and they gave me the $150 in cash! Condo is so clean, kitchen large, includes all kitchen necessities . Empty trash right near elevator; drop off keys in box on the road out. Numerous adult restaurants and family friendly. I would go there again! Much more than I expected. Visited Nov, so didn't take advantage of pool (two I believe) if no car, they have shuttle to town.
I had some use or lose points and invited a friend of mine to go down to Williamsburg for Veterans weekend. The resort is beautiful, clean, well stocked, and inviting. The rec center is nice with a surprisingly large indoor pool, bowling lanes, work out room, and cafe. The villa/suite was well decorated and the faux fireplace produced a lot of heat. The ONLY issue I had was the beds. OMG, my back is still recovering, I'm sorry to say. Hard as a rock. No give. I would however definitely stay there again, but may bring my egg crate mattress foam cover. Resort as a whole is quiet, but the walls separating the suites must be thin because I could hear the maid vacuuming in the next suite. It actually woke me up, and she vacuumed for what seemed like forever. But that just let me know how much attention they paid to cleanliness. I could also hear the phone ringing in the next suite as well. If you want to sleep late, unplug phones as soon as you get in, and don't list a cell phone number on the form you fill out prior to receiving key. Its a business! Salespersons may call. All in all, I give this place the maximum stars.
The hotel was very nice. We had a 2 bedroom unit using our timeshare in PA to swap out the week. They have several pools outdoor and one indoor pool. They have a miniature golf course and a 4 lane bowling alley. Also not to far by car is Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown and Yorktown Settlements. Only negative of the trip was the person they send you to to get your parking pass. This is the trick they play to get you to have to listen to everything they are selling including a timeshare. This salesperson was not friendly if you turned down all the offers she had for us.
I was invited by a current owner of Holiday Inn Club vacations for a long weekend to celebrate my anniversary. We were promised a one bedroom villa and as we arrived at our unit, we were pleasantly surprised by the room. We ended up in a two bedroom villa, with full kitchen, dining area, master room with Jacuzzi, patio and fireplace. I loved how up to date all appliances and furniture was. We were extremely comfortable, we went bowling and swimming everyday. We even rented movies and chilled by the fireplace with take out one night. We made a full breakfast every morning and went to a few Williamsburg sites during our visit. Staff was extremely friendly and easy to talk to.We went to our timeshare presentation on the club and actually became members. Best presentation we've ever been to. Worth every minute. Can't wait to return and try their other resorts.
I can't believe this property isn't higher on the Williamsburg list. Our room was top notch, very luxurious and immaculately decorated. We had a King 2 room villa, Which included full kitchen, washer and dryer, dining area and living room with a fire place 2 full bathrooms, both with jetted tubs. It was nice to be able to cook a meal. The outdoor pool was still open. Would definitely love to visit this property again and use more of it, we didn't get to see the indoor pool or bowling alley or mini golf areas.
Great place to stay. Very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have 3 pools, 2 outdoor and 1 inside. They also have a bowling alley and an 18 hole mini golf course. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back.
We loved it! The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed! Even laundry! We really felt at home. As far as the amenities, I did think the arcade was bigger.. the bowling alley was nice, cafe, fitness center and everything was in walking distance. You could only use cash at the arcade. My only complaint is the pool by the main building needed to be cleaned. There was bugs and grass sheddings in it.
