Motel was what I needed. Easy enough to find, rate was reasonable. Clean enough. Good for a night's stay.

Would not recommend. Not a great experience. Just off the interstate. Cheap.

Room old and dirty. Heat barely worked. Requested nonsmoking but was put into a smoking room. Hole kicked in the bathroom door. Way over priced.

This is a great place for a quick pit stop or a weekend getaway. The location wasnt the best but it was pretty close to downtown and the room was pretty comfortable and spacious. The only problem was the location, as there are trains traveling very close to the hotel and the flight noises.

I have never stayed in the Charlotte area and was skeptical about the entire situation. After attending a concert at a local venue, we stayed overnight at the Rodeway Inn. The inn was very accessible and right off of a main road. The area seemed to be a little sketchy seeing that their were multiple law enforcement officers around the inn. Arriving late in the evening, around 11:30 pm, the staff was very professional and friendly. The room was much smaller than expected but worked just fine for staying for overnight. Their were fruit fly like bugs in the bathroom which I believe were coming from the shower drain. Other than the drain flies, the inn was very accommodating for the price!

If you are looking for a cheap hotel forn couple of nights this is the hotel you will want. Right off of 85 and on a major road you can hear traffic all night. As well as there was no happy medium for the heater, it just blew all night and was loud. While the staff was friendly I didn't not interact with them enough to say for sure. I asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room instead. However it was clean everyday so I can honestly complain about the maid service. One benefit to this hotel is it is very close to down town Charlotte without being in the city. All in all if you want a cheap hotel for a couple of nights this is it. Would I stay here again, if I was in a pinch but I won't be going out of my way to make reservations again.

Friendly staff that made the stay memorable. Would recommend to others.

For only 50 bucks not bad at all. Would stay again.

Took my kids and grandson to this hotel (concert in area) and it was so discusting that we left and i traveled another hour to get another hotel. There was holes in shower walls, the carpet was gross and the room was dirty. I was afraid to put my kids on the beds! Not to mention did not feel SAFE! Female traveling with 3 kids and doors looked like my kids could break the security! We first pulled in to parking lot and NO ONE was there. Felt immediatly like a "scary" movie. The man that finally came from a back room to check us in had no sense of humor (yes I mentioned the emptiness). He explained the "no refund" policy to me. (within 24 hours) however never being to this area, I booked the room at 2 am that morning. Needless to say we were disappointed but in the end we found another CHoice hotel and was very pleased. Lesson learned! No Roadway Inn in Charlotte!!!

Very clean and close to downtown, the parking lot is small and the wait staff was very helpful.

This hotel wasn't that bad. The shower drained with no problems. The room was pretty much clean. There were a few Cheetos left under the bed from the previous people. The remote control for the TV was without batteries. There was no alarm clock radio. The fridge in the room was a very good size and even had a small microwave oven, which was very convenient for reheating leftovers. But all in all for the price, I can not complain. The hotel was close to every where I was going. And the hotel staff was very pleasant. And yes, I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here and it was very comfortable, affordable, quiet, and very clean. We plan on staying here every time we travel. Highly recommended!!
