I was in town for the holiday to visit my family. I booked and paid for the room in advance, I was just looking for a good price at the last minute and the motel seemed nice enough for $58...it's right off 77 and was very convenient location wise. The man who checked us in was horrible absolutely horrible!!! He was rude to me, made a comment about my husband being overweight and for him not to take a bath cause he doesn't need water splashing on the bathroom floor!!! Who says something like that?????? Then he threatened that if we had anyone visit the property we would thrown out without a refund, I calmly tried to explain that I was simply in town to visit my family and there would be no trouble and he still acted like a jerk. Last time I checked I'm a guest, not a prostitute not a hoodlum, a guest. This guy needs to find another profession if this is his idea of customer service!! Never again, next time I'll pay more for decency.

Hotel was ok but the staff really went out of there way. Room was inexpensive which is what I like about motel 6s. No frills here but can't beat $50 for a bed and warm coffee in the morning. I will continue to use motel 6s in the future.

We really hate to take shots at a budget hotel since quite often you get what you pay for, but this Motel 6 experience made us want to question if it is worth it saving money when all you want to do is basically rent the room for 10-12 hours to sleep overnight before moving on. We were so exhausted from our drive, one where we didn't know exactly how far we could go in one day or what city we would be staying in, that our usual, careful research of budget choices didn't happen. What a mistake. From the questionable people hanging out on their 2nd floor balcony walkway with their doors open watching us unpack our car to the questionable people using the property to cut through (coming from where? going to where?) to the bathroom that needed so much rehab and the elevator with its unpleasant smells that noisily clunked to the 2nd floor (we used the staircase after that experience), it simply felt uncomfortable to stay here. Our non-smoking room clearly had been used by people who smoked. Its only virtue was that it was right off I-77. The owner/manager was pleasant and genial, but this Motel 6 is being run to extract as much profit as possible without putting money back into simple, basic repairs. If we were to find ourselves in Charlotte overnight in the future, we simply would stay elsewhere.

This place was so nasty. As soon as my partner and I walked through the door we were met with roaches. From what I saw it's a place that inmates just released from jail say. This was an emergency stay for my partner and I. Never again.

I was in charlotte for a business trip. This motel was close to uptown. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The price was great. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because they do not serve breakfast.

The floors were sticky. The towels were stained There is mold in the caulking in the bathroom around the bath tub. A coulpe of the drawers did not have any faces ( just an open drawer). The lady who checked me in was not very friendly and gave me the impression I was wasting her time. This location just recently became a Motel 6 and the condition of this place give evidence that Motel 6 as a corporation will sell anyone a franchise

I am not in the business of condemning places, but this has go to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. You get what you paid for for this motel. I choose this place based on price, because I had a layover and boy was I in for a ride. Looking back at things now, I should have spent my money elsewhere. This place is terrible, it's a halfway house for junkies, prostitutes, etc. Stains on the bedroom walls, condom wrappers under the bed, dead roaches (3 of them), some trash under the bed. Bathroom is a biohazard, this place is crazy.

i started in a room close to the office, and ended up on the 3rd floor far away from it, The stay was very good wherever i ended up! even the fire-escape was safe and rugged for daily use. The room was comfortable, very comfortable. On the days where there were no jobs to work, errands to run, people to visit, or places to go, it is VERY EASY to be a shut-in and just rest. The facilities were all operational. When there was a problem, it got resolved when the appropriate staff was notified. And the staff... they were very good! all i've encountered had a mindset of great security and customer service; from the front-desk to the room maids. As with anything else, as long as the staff is notified on what's needed or what's going on, they WILL help, and the job gets done. Yeah, i encountered some guests who were selfish and trespassers who did not know their place, but again, either the staff stepped in to help resolve the conflict or, the next thing i knew, that person was no longer welcome on the premises. This IS AWESOME! This place would be perfect if it had a kitchenette. But for now, i will extend my stay with them for yet another week.

The worst place ever..... Be afraid, very afraid.... I pray I don't get any bugs from the place, and no refunds folks... I'll never book a Motel 6 again anywhere.. Several groups of men hanging out drinking outside.

The staff is very rude, my 16 year old gotten locked out of room, as I was visiting family, she called me stating they would not let her back in,spoke to man at front desk was rude kept over talking me. The next day came to pay for room Indian man on second shift said he needs to see my kids as he doesn't like people coming and going and he kicks people out.explained we barely came out our room and we don't have visitors. Also unruly guests were loud and obnoxious while they congregated outside the rooms and this was after midnight. Staff very and seemed racist, they allow anyone with a ID to stay. Prostitutes roaming about, people arguing in parking lot. Feared for my families safety. Worst place ever!
