stylish and convenient for college visit

Everything was great for our short visit! Had a little trouble with our key code but after a text to the property manager it was resolved right away. Great location, stylish decor and comfy bed. Nice coffee shop a short walk away.

The common area is SO cute and the studio was immaculate, well cared for, and had everything we could need. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The hosts were thoughtful, helpful and easy to reach. We didn’t have any issues, but they checked in to make sure everything was as expected. Don’t miss your chance to stay here.

Definite recommend in Carbondale

Everything was just as described. Owners did a great job communicating check in and check out expectations. We LOVED walking USI campus and felt very safe. The uniqueness of the building was an added perk. Thanks!

Ideal location for SIU events

Perfect location for SIU events, within walking distance of campus. Very cool vibe and nicely decorated. Not very accessible if you don’t have mobility for stairs. There is an elevator but accessible from entrance. The bed could use some upgrades, specially better pillows and higher quality sheets. Would definitely reccomend this property

SIU Visit

Overall not a bad place. A couple pictures in the post are not from the room but a common area. Supposedly this room is new. But there is unfinished projects. Door had a gap underneath that is probably 3/4” or more. The other rooms all had thresholds not this one. There is some other touch ups that could be done. The room I guess was cleaned before I arrived. However there were spots on the floor around the table. The shower stall had hair on the wall that was not mine. The worst may be the pest glue board trap sitting on the countertop next to the microwave. Didn’t see any visitor durning my stay. This morning I was woken by a crying dog about 5:50. This poor pup cried for at least 2 hours before I left. I did notify the host and they were looking into it. Probably won’t stay at this place again but will look into other properties they have.

Quit Overnight Stay

My room was lovely. It was very clean and perfect for a quick work trip. It is a bit smaller than what I typically book and I'm not sure I would spend more than a couple of days here, but that is only my preference given that I spend a bit more time in the room since I do not come to do much site seeing. I have stayed at other properties managed by this host and they are always great! This one was no exception.

Loved it!

This is such a cute place! It looks exactly like the pictures. It was a perfect place to stay, right next to SIU, as we visited our kids for the weekend. Super clean! The bed was comfortable. My door code didn’t work getting into the building initially, and Allison responded immediately, fixed it and got us right in. It is important to note that the elevator is not always available, so you have to walk up to the 3rd floor. Not a problem for us, but may be for some. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Carbondale!

Great little studio

Not much to say other than it was the perfect little stay. My only minor and i mean minor complaint was a lack of water pressure in the shower, but it certainly wasnt worth lowering from a 5 star. Will very likely stay here again when i come to town.

A true GEM!

Such a beautiful modern boutique property tucked right into the SIU campus. The moment we opened the door, we found a gorgeous and stylish apartment that was clean, secure, comfortable and full of detail. I only wish we had found it sooner and could have stayed longer!
