I like that it has diferent activities for kids. I didn't like the idea there not much option in shows for adults, within the property.

Cost to travel out of the resort was high and were really very little p\options other than taxi service

We enjoyed our time here, first day navigation of the property was s little tricky, but after that we were good. Wash clothes seem to be in short supply, seemed like every other day we had none. On our last night, we had showered in the late afternoon and had them in the shower, well they came and did a turn down of the bed and took them!!!!! We didn't find out until next morning. Other than that, food was good, drinks were good, wait staff in restaurants was good occasionally and great the rest of the time!

The pools were nice, clean, and not over crowded. Staff very courteous. Sol (female server) was extra special. I would like to be able to eat and order pool side. This is the first resort I have ever been to that it isn’t allowed.

We need a activities services& kids playground! Also, so many Asian people coming,so they having some asian food!

Exellent Hotel, staff are really Nice and the view too the ocean is beautiful. well differential came back again.

Staff is fantastic -friendly, helpful, respectful Facilities : Not upkept. YOu can find a better property on the MAyan Riviera comparable in price. Half of the machines in gym are broken, espresso machines in coffee house and one restaurant not working, broken card reader that kept us from getting into our room until 1am until they fixed it, broken AC vent that soaker our clothes in the closet... AND $40 for internet! It's time they invest in the property- it's a disservice to their employees who have to spend a lot of time apologizing to their guests. Stay somewhere else- for similar price I've stayed in other properties around with much better experiences.

Nice hotel, food was great, awesome pools and great entertainment. Beach is still affected by the Sargazo.

we were looking forward to the beach not only was it filled with seaweed but you could not swim very rocky .I walked in the water caught a rash on both my legs from the seaweed ,it was very disappointing also the two restaurant's not only did you need reservations there was a dress code we didn't bring dress clothes with us so we could not go to either one of them. The mosquito's were out of control omg we came back with bites all over, the only thing I can say if it wasn't for our butlers David and Eduardo and Claudia we could have never made it though, so if you want to swim don't go there and if you do don't stay in building nineteen or eighteen its away from everything .plenty of food options except for the two sit down ones.one positive thing I can say is the wait staff is excellent, hard working they are there to serve you and that they do always with a smile I give them all five stars. I would never go back there because you cannot swim ,very ugly beach looks great but be warned you cannot enjoy it, that is why you don't see anyone in the water

We had a wonderful experience at Marina El Cid and Ventus at Marina El Cid.The staff was always very helpful, our room was cleaned twice a day. Food was good. The workers there are always busy and hard at work. This is our 2nd time there and loved it. My daughter was married her we had 17 people traveling with us. They were wonderful. Our butlers Poco and Jesus' were the best. I know others had different butlers and they all were very pleased with theirs also.

My son got married on the beach....everything was so exquisite...beautiful place beautiful people.....

Hotel was great the staff was great Eduardo concier was great. The only problem is they have the shows at night outside a lot of mosquitos As a Platinum member they need to have Wi-Fi included with no charge. Vicente at the beach bar was great.they should not charge for The Wristband if you lose it.

Enjoyed this hotel already planning our next visit.

The staff is well trained and helpful. Maid service was the best I have ever encountered. This is a very well run hotel in just about every category. My only complaint is that the dress code at the restaurants is a bit fanatical. After reserving ahead, our well dressed party of 8 was refused seating because one in our party was wearing expensive closed toe sandals. Since reservations are required at the nice restaurants, that left few options open for dinner. I thought that was over the top.

This is considered one of the most pleasant visits in an all inclusive hotel that i have stayed in. I highly recommend it. It is worth every penny. You are getting more than what you are paying for in this experience.

The facility is very nice and had the best all-inclusive food I have ever had. My only complaint is that the room had a bad odor coming from the air conditioner like a mold or mildew problem. They did move us to two other rooms but they had the same issue but slightly better. If going for the beach this not the place to go.

This was our third trip to El CID. We love the food, accommodations, location and we love the staff. The young folks in charge of activities are FABULOUS. We have always had an exceptional time when we have stayed at this hotel. The only thing that I would not recommend is sitting through the time share presentation. We did that the first time and it was VERY uncomfortable.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The food was amazing, they have everything. However, this place is good for older people who just want to go and read, and that is fine, but not for me. I went to Mexico, I was hoping to experience some of their culture, instead, I listed to american music all day long. In some of the bars, they had the same song on repeat (the same song played all day and night). A word of caution, do not get sucked into that "90 minute tour", it is not 90 minutes, mine was more like 4 hours. The person giving us the sales pitch was so nice, I couldn't say stop. Unless you have a lot of time to waste and a lot of money to spend, DO NOT DO IT. I will not go back to this resort, I mean, I love it, its amazing, its pools, service, food... but too much pressure to buy and a bit boring!

We really enjoyed our stay at Marina El Cid. The new portion of the hotel is beautiful!
