Repeat visitor to hotel. However, it seems like the food quality and service has declined. Used to have a nice lobby coffee bar in the morning, not a pot of coffee and powder creamer. Hotel allowed some construction work on the property until midnight making it impossible to sleep. For the relative price to other hotels it seems this one has slipped down the list. Used to be a real gem.

Hacienda Morelos was the perfect spot for us to enjoy a quick stop in Puerto Morelos. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by friendly staff and a gorgeous view of the aqua blue Caribbean. The beach was only a few steps away and they have a lovely pool. We ate twice at the attached restaurant and I cannot stress enough how delicious it was! Staff at the restaurant were top notch. Our only regret is that we couldn’t have stayed longer!

This place is right by the beach with a great on site restaurant. I wish there was actual AC. It’s an actual fan attached by the entrance door that only feels cold when you’re standing in front of it. It was super hot in the room specially in the bathroom. The smell of pee never goes away. The water in the toilet it’s always yellow and smells horrible. The water for the shower was horrible and there’s no shower door so it’s always wet. Other than that the staff is great, there’s stores and restaurants right across the street from the hotel.

The ocean water was black as if they had a large oil spill. I had a two day stay and had to leave immediately after seeing the disgusting ocean. They refused to give me credit even though I left. For second night . Will follow up with credit card!

Great location for downtown! Room patio was great! Disco across the street made it hard to sleep until after 2 am.

Loved hearing the ocean from our room. Beautiful view. Nice basic hotel. Hard beds. Noise from bar across street at night and restaurant closed at 9pm. Ok for one night.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. They cleaned it daily as well. The view from our room was very beautiful! Nice pool and beach area. Close to shopping and grocery store. The WIFI was spotty and could not watch much TV (fine with me). The only thing I wish we had was a fridge. Will definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at this property. We like that it is beach front and has a pool that looks over the beach. We were a little disappointed that we had to pay for an upgrade when the property wasn't very busy and the room didn't have a hair dryer or coffee maker. It would also be nice if they could figure out how to give the balconies some shade so you can sit there and enjoy the views in the morning. Other than those few things, we really enjoyed our stay.

THE GOOD. WE LOVED OUR STAY AT HACIENDA MORELOS HOTEL. NICE BED. SHOWER WATER WAS HOT. AC WAS GREAT. ACCESS TO BEACH GREAT. POOL WAS NICE. TV NETFLIX WORKED OK. THE BAD. NO COFFEE MAKER IN THE ROOM. WE ACTUALLY WENT AND BOUGHT A NEW ONE AND USED IT IN OUR ROOM. WE LIKE TO GET UP IN THE MORNING AND HAVE OUR COFFEE AND TEA IN OUR SLEEPING CLOTHES. THANK YOU.

Loved the location and that there was a restaurant and bar on the property. Staff was exceptional. We had to ask for a blanket and more towels one day, but very pleased overall.

Comfortable beach front hotel with a good breakfast included.

Very pleasant service staff. Great happy hour. Steps to the beach.

The hotel and the staff, especially Nancy, were very accommodating. We felt safe and although there is construction going on you can get around and it's not noisy. Staff was great.

Beach is useless, but no fault to the hotel. Breakfast a-la-carte was good!

We had a great time here. A/C worked great, beds are firm (my husband survived, I love it). Great location for visiting the Cenotes on the Routa de Cenotes. Also a great location for snorkeling. We walked up the beach to the park and saw many fish. The Lanai is fabulous for napping in the heat of the day, and the beach lounge chairs were great for drinking a cervesa. Pool looks great, we were too busy to use. There was construction on ALL the streets in the area making it nearly impossible to get to the hotel. We almost got stuck in the parking lot one day. Many great restaurants for people who want basic living with good food.

Location in the city and on the beach is great. Included breakfast is great. Bed is hard. They do allow kids which was hard as we could not get in the pool. Recommend second floor with big balcony. Next time I want a room not overlooking pool. Will go back as this time, most streets were closed and under construction so it was dusty, loud and hard to get around. Love the slow paced sleepy village

Staff nice no refrigerator no roll away Service some times slow. View of ocean but not the beach. Adequate for the cost

My husband and I stayed here from Nov 28th to the 5th of Dec of this year. The staff was very accomodating. I didn't catch the hotel representative for the day shift, but she was very helpful, and spoke excellent English. The rooms were very clean, and the beach was well taken care of. The waiters and waitresses were very professional. We enjoyed the Happy Hour and the music provided. The location of this Hotel is perfect, walking distance to everything and anything we needed. Puerto Morelos is a very friendly place to visit, the locals are great and a lot of fun.
