K+K Hotel Opera Budapest

Excellent location, great staff, great breakfast

We just got back, spent 3 days and don’t have one complaint about the hotel. The first day we were checking in I kidded around about getting the suite with a balcony, the next morning when we were leaving the front desk saw us and told us they had an upgrade room for us. I declined because there was nothing wrong with our room but found that to be class “A” customer service. Breakfast was excellent. 400’ from the Opera metro stop and can connect to whereever you want to go in the city.

Hotel Moments Budapest

Sophisticated Boutique Hotel

This is such a sweet hotel. I was greeted right from arriving and loved the big Christmas tree next to the desk. Everyone I dealt with was so helpful in giving info and extra help and suggestions. Super nice to have free tea and coffee 24 hours per day. Also had pretzels and other treats all day. Terrific breakfast but no oatmeal. Cereals, eggs cooked inall ways. Bacon, sausage, and roasted veggies as well as small pancakes. I had asked for a room with a view that was quiet and received Room 516 which had a terrific view of St.Stephens through the large window and even viewed in the desk mirror. That was wonderful!! Levor window was nice to shut to have no light at night as well. Plenty of room and closet space. TV is limited to CNN and other news shows with Nickelodeon in english but what else do you expect. Very modern hotel and a television in the lobby to sit and have drinks if you wanted to relax outside of room. Very nice oasis in the middle of a busy city. Near enough to walk all through the shopping areas. Further down past Opera House seems not as nice of an area so the hotel was great because I would rather stay nearer to both shopping areas. Oh, and buses run up and down road to take you to Castle area or Hero's square which was very important to us. Buses 105 can be picked up at corner or Bus 116 on road out front of hotel. Metro also near but never used it.
