We would highly recommend this Atrium based hotel. Staff very friendly and Reception extremely helpful. Enjoyable breakfast. Only complaint was that there was no bar to relax in, after a days touristing.

Room 302, 14th & 15th December. At check in the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, as they were throughout our stay. Our room was fairly small with twin beds that were firm but comfortable. The room was clean and reasonable equipped; the only fault was a fault disconnected sliding shower doors. The room was warm even with the heating off but the outside facing windows did open for fresh air. Due to the atrium arrangement I understand that some rooms only have inside facing windows. Breakfast was fine with several choices in each section. No other food is served in the hotel and the bar operates on request from reception (from 5 p.m. I was told). The hotel is well situated with Blaha Lujza ter. Metro station only a block away. Be warned that some Metro stations are very poorly signposted and the entrance might be a stairway adjoining the pavement which without close inspection might appear to be the entrance to a basement. Also bear in mind that some Metro stations have many exits so take note of which one you enter by or you might have trouble upon your return. The problem that we had with this hotel was the noise in the front facing room. There is noticeable traffic noise especially until 11p.m. when the trams stop running. This on its own would be fine but the rooms appear to have no acoustic insulation such that even normal conversation/activity in other rooms is intrusive, and if your neighbours are noisy you may as well be in the room with them. If it wasn’t for the noise in the room we would be happy to recommend this hotel, but if an undisturbed night’s sleep is important we would suggest not staying here. Sorry!

This hotel is ideally located for a stay in Budapest with most attractions within a 30 min walk or short tram or metro journey from the stations that are both within 200m of the hotel. It is also only 200m from a shopping centre and only a 15 minute walk from some of the best ruin bars in Budapest. The hotel itself has a modern almost Spanish-modern feel. There is not a reception area to speak of and the bar area is a little limited at night. However, if you are out and about all the time then don't let this put you off. The service is great and the breakfast has plenty to offer with both cooked and continental choices. The rooms are clean, modern and whilst a little small this is made up for by the cleanliness and comfortable beds.

Service is Very good, room is very clean, WI fi. Breakfast is good. The hotel placed not in the center but near metro and other transportation. The price is good. There is cell phone in the room that you can use and call and other useful applications and it's free.

The staff was very friendly and helpful The design of the rooms and reception and breakfast area was very beautiful. The room was excellent and clean. Close to the centre of the city, it's a nice choice in Budapest

Very central hotel with friendly helpful staff very clean .breakfast was ok but limited ,bedrooms and bathrooms clean and tidy with air con which proved a godsend as the rooms proved very warm at night, a taxi from airport approx huf 7000 /€23

Dear Just finished mine stay at Atrium hotel in Budapest. First of all they do not offer parking on site, they are just lucky to have in same street public garage, 200m away, which cost 17eur per day. Rooms are very small about 16m2. We had two beds which are so small maybe enough for child of 12 years. Windows of room are looking on hotel corridor and you have always to put curtains on not to be seen buy people who are passing by. As well you can not have clean and fresh air from window. Bathroom is more or less fine, maybe best part of hotel. Breakfast is served downstairs in lobby and your windows are looking at it. If you want to sleep bit longer you can mot have peace as you hear people-that are eating and noise of moving plates from waiters. Breakfast is also poor. Only good thing that near hotel is Mac Donalds 0-24h. I would recommend to skip this hotel unless you do not have other choice.

The hotel is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main part of town, but only a block from the subway. It is also convenient to the train station. The desk staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times because in addition to checking people in, storing luggage, etc, they are also very willing to discuss tourist options at length. Although it is generous to provide assistance, sometimes tourists can take 20 minutes of the staff's time while others are simply wishing to get a key to their room. We enjoyed the wide variety included in the daily breakfast. Our room with two small beds was extremely cramped and tight even by European standards. If you are claustrophobic, best look elsewhere. The bathroom was also very small.

A good sized room with tea and coffee facilities. Our room's windows faced onto the Atrium so no natural light but that didn't bother us. Big bed and comfort. A good continental breakfast with some hot options. Very helpful reception staff and centrally placed on bus routes and on the Big Red Bus route - which stops nearby at the New York Hotel. And an impressive Atrium! Highly recommended.

Reception staff were very helpful although when we arrived no one was on reception and we did have to wait to check in. The food at breakfast was good quality, I think the selection could have been bigger. However the system worked, they do need a couple more tables as it does get very busy. The rooms are very clean and modern, same with the whole hotel. However when we arrived we didn’t have a double room although we booked a double, they straight away offered us a double room. They do not provide enough tea bags in the rooms.
