have been several times in this hotel in the last years and the service level is continously decreasing leading me to the choice to avoid it next times. The hotel has a good location close to the metro in a nice area 15-20 mins walk from the centre. Breakfast is rich and food is generally fresh. The hotel is more and more full of large groups of far east turists making noise and, moving all together, blocking breakfast, check-in and other areas. reception staff seem full of internship without much experience and not really helpful; last two times they ask for 50 euro deposit despite the room was pre payed and I have a record of more than 50 nights there. Additionally, both times the didn't load in the system the pre-payed breakfast and I had to show from the PC the voucher to not be charged about. about the structure corridors stink of smoke and some rooms are located close to the tram without adeguate glasses leading to noise during the night. Since terrorist attack the restaurant is closed but the area is full of places and so it is not a big problem... anyway a bar service should be there. For a 4 star hotel is not worth the price.
Dirty and unflexible. They do not Clean the rooms as they should and curtains etc are broke. The restarant is closed almost all the time. At breakfast it seems more important that the staff is happy than the costumers.
good location in Brussels we only had room only on 7th floor and was noise but you are in a busy city clean warm and good. if you want a hotel in the middle and walking distance from some of the main sights great. tram stop 100yards away and good food 200yards away down the side streets
Not as nice as other NH hotels I've stayed at, the rooms are looking a little tired, but ideal for exploring and close to the metro. The restaurant was closed during our stay but breakfast was good, lots of choice of hot and cold food.
The lovely Andrea went above & beyond to be helpful - and we did have a few curve balls which she took easily in her stride. Rooms were spacious & clean Centrally located with easy access to transport, shopping & food
I have come several times for business on all occasions I have been disappointed. On the one hand, the wifi does not work properly (it works very slow and it is desperate to navigate), having to pay 10 euros extra for a normal internet. I do not see it right to charge an extra at 150 euros per night for a service that should be included in the rate. On the other hand, the gym has very few machines, being very limited. I must mention that the breakfast and the receptionists are of a high standard.
Spent one night on a business trip there. Hotel is in a good location. Rooms need some refreshment work done, e.g. faux-wood flooring was partially worn through. Since a hotel is primarily for sleeping this was not an issue for me. Fitness room located in the attic is really small. Very friendly staff.
Room 636 - 3 nights. Room: Pros: Very modern, not too big and not too small just the perfect size for 2 people to stay in. Very clean and so was the bathroom. So big thanks to the house keeping team. There were two cupboards to put your clothes in which is good. Shower was perfect, hairdryer was suprisingly strong! Cons: Window blinds were broken, every time i tried to pull it down it just springs back up. Breakfast: Pros: A lot of choices such as boiled, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cold cuts of meats, pastries (apple strudel was to die for!) coffee, different types of teas, cereal. Cons: There isn't much seats, we had to wait for seats on our first day as there were a lot of people. Location: Amazing location, has a lot of shops, cafes, express grocerie shop and restaurants around. Metro station is just 10 minutes walk away (Louiza), tram stops are close. Grand place is just 20 minutes away by tram. Cons: - On our second day around 11:00am we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door as we were catching up on sleep and I suddenly woke up because one of the house keepers got inside and didn't realise we were still in the room, but we had the sign on the door so no one can disturb us sleeping but unfortunately it got interrupted, then they took our "do not disturb" sign for no reason! Dissapointed about that. - They offer room service BUT because the restaurant was closed throughout the whole stay it was very dissapointing. When we called the reception to ask why, the woman from the reception said that the restaurant and bar closes during the whole winter time...why? That's not an excuse, it should be open every day with no exception. Too bad because we wanted room service! :( Overall, dispite the cons, the hotel and staff were amazing, very friendly. I would definitely stay again hopefully with the restaurant open!
Well the NH Hotel is a good choice. The rooms are big enough with modern decoration, clean warm and quiet. The hotel location is on the center so you can easily go anywhere. Nice service and polite staff.
generally it was good. I liked the room, but there was lots of noise from the main street during nigh sleep. I recommend you to use better isolation for window and door . I liked 2 separate room for sitting and sleeping.
