Business trip to Brussels made all the better by staying at this lovely hotel. I'll defiantly use and tell my colleagues to book when in Brussels. First class breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, nothing negative to report.
Very well located, in the proximity of Louise metro station and several tram/bus lines. Clean, spacious and well equipped room with a rooftop view (7th floor), in a nice retro style. Friendly atmosphere (especially the groovy ground floor). Several bémols: difficult to set a good temperature (either too cold or too hot), there was a lot of humidity on the windowpanes and windowsill, also the batteries in the tv pilot were dead...
Good location, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice decoration. Bar is open 24/24. As for the bar and restaurant, the staff is very skilled in ignoring customers who are willing to pass an order, or who are just hoping to get a table. We had to wait several times up to 15 minutes before somebody asked us what we want to drink and had to wait 45 minutes to get some food. Free internet is extremely slow.
The hotel services in general was ok, but the hotel just provides free low speed Wifi, the staff reaction to the requests are so slow, surprisingly they forgot to replace new shampoo in the room for two days!!
Excellent building, nice bar, good breakfast, clean individalized rooms. I recommend this hotel in the center of Brussels because it is not that boring, and 19th century style. Gym is ok, and all services are perfekt
The hotel has got an outstanding design which is visible even in small details. The location is good. Breakfasts are fresh, manifold and tasty. Audibility in the rooms is terrible. All the talks/shower/toilets of your neighbors is gonna be there in your room. The windows fail to hide street noises which are numerous if you've got a street view room. Shampoos etc. expired in 2016. Internet is poor. Asking for payment to get acceptable speed is outdated in 2017, especially for almost 200 euro per night. Generally I liked the hotel premises and elaborate design, but audibility and internet are the flaws that make my return unlikely.
During my trip on 15th of Novembre I got Room 629. The TV did not work at the beginning. After some trials I got the TV working. But there was no entertaimentprogramm (films,...) as I was used to from former trips. As I wantet to swich of the light to go to sleep, the backround lighnig could not swiched of. The service was able to swich of the light by poor force (knocking on the bed)
Attended conference at this hotel. On first entry very struck by its lay out. The actual reception area for check in and check out is also part of the bar & restaurant. Over the next few days the reception area was a place to congregate and meet people, very convivial to link up with other delegates. Also part of the breakfast area. Breakfast was typical buffet, there was a good choice of hot & cold food. Evening meals had a good choice to suit all tastes. About 25 minutes walk to the Grande Place. Just follow the tram line to the end and then turn right and talk it from there.
We did a city trip to Brussels and this hotel was the perfect departure to discover the city. It’s a very comfortable hotel and the breakfast was very excellent. It has everything you want!! We were sad that we just stayed two nights.
I checked in on the 3rd November was a great hotel no problem checking in had to pay a 75 euro deposit what was fine everything bout hotel was great had a great weekend until it came to checking out as we had a early flight we checked out around 3.45 they said we didn't pay the 75 euro deposit so we wouldn't 've getting it and that it wasn't on there screens the guy had awful attitude and was not helpful at all wrote to them when was back got told they would reinburst me on a set day 3 days on I'm still waiting and they haven't replied or updated me on anything awful management and reception
