A very classy and friendly hotel with decent rooms and great service. Everything about our stay was good: great breakfasts, nice drinks in the bar area, solid wi-fi, no children. The room was well serviced and my only issue was with the uncomfortable pillows. The sauna/steamroom area is well appointed down in the basement cellars, often so quiet that I was the only one there. You can ask for a robe and slippers and keep them for your stay. Get changed in your room. You'll only need a towel in the sauna. Service was perfect with very helpful front desk staff who took the time to explain things, show you how to get to places, book taxis etc. A really enjoyable stay.

We stayed here last year, it’s location is perfect. The rooms are well appointed, clean and I love that’s there’s a bath. I have to say their staff are all outstanding, a special mention this year to Simon who seemed to live there during our stay. He always greeted us with a smile on reception

At check in we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who couldn't be more helpful and friendly, great first impression, We stayed in an executive double on the first floor facing the front and were opposite the hostel / bar. Sunday to Tuesday night we had no noise issues, just very faint sound of cars going past - not sure if weekends might be different. Beds very comfortable, great shower, lovely bath. Like others have commented the air con didn't seem to work in the room however we were not really in the room long enough to worry or complain! Breakfast Is fantastic with a wide choice from continental to a few cooked options, fruit, yoghurts and a variety of breads and pastries with tea and coffee made on request. The breakfast room itself was also lovely to sit in. The breakfast staff were polite and non intrusive. We visited the bar a couple of evenings and the lovely lady on reception moved over to the bar to serve us. Again, very genuine, friendly and polite who although busy made time to ask our day was etc. I called for an ironing board one evening and the same lady who served us in the bar delivered to the room in around 5 minutes along with a box of chocolates from the hotel as a congratulations on our anniversary (which a friend who was staying in the hotel had openly mentioned the previous evening) What a lovely personal touch! Bar and lounge areas are lovely to relax in and prices are about the same as in local bars. Location is perfect, 20 min walk or 10 min taxi from the station and then a 5 min walk to both main squares etc. Lovely Italian restaurant across the road (Pili, Pili), go hungry though as the portions are massive! We have been to Bruges a number of time and this is the best hotel we have stayed in, highly recommended!

What a lovely hotel. Friendly, courteous, helpful staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great - everything we wanted and no hassle. It’s clean and peaceful- the right place for a child free break.

This hotel is in a great location, not far from the main tourist hotspots but far enough away so it doesn't feel busy or crowded. Bjorn on the front desk was so helpful especially with restaurant options. In fact we went to nearly every one of his suggestions and they were all fantastic so thank you to him for making our eating out so amazing! The room and bathroom were clean. There was one night where we were disturbed by noisy guests upstairs but that can be helped and didn't really affect our stay. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

A quaint old world hotel, excellent breakfasts and comfortable lounge and bar area. The room was very warm and despite all efforts we could not get the air con to work. The bathroom was super warm, more like a sauna. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful my only concern was the fact that the hotel used keys which were returned to the desk when guests went out and the pigeon holes where they were stored were easily accessible by anyone standing by the desk. As the staff were often called away from the desk this presented a security risk.

The stay at peellaert hotel was very enjoyable. The service was especially nice. The hotel is very beautiful with an antique bruges style and the breakfast is very good. The people were very attentive to our needs and welcoming.

Top hotel, top staff, top breakfast, everything you expect and some more This is the real deal, at a fair rate. They also have a car park at the rear of the building The breakfast is included and is extensive You will not be disappointed here for sure

Nice hotel in great location. My disappointment was that the service and hospitality were not 4 star standard. There was a lack of generosity that I found tainted the experience. When I asked for a small amount of milk for a cup of tea (typical Brit) I was billed €3... When I asked the woman at breakfast if they could do a boiled egg having run out in the breakfast buffet she just said no and didn’t even check with the kitchen. Small things but just generally give an impression of lack of care. Also on the Saturday night it was very noisy up to 5am from the hostel opposite (not the hotels fault) but worth bearing in mind in terms of getting a back facing room if possible. Overall, nice enough place but not 4 star in my opinion.

We booked this hotel after reading previous good review on trip advisor and were not disappointed. The room (201) was comfortable and quiet, really couldn't fault it. The staff, Rani, Simon and Bjorn couldn't have been more helpful. They helped with train times, taxi booking and eating recommendations always with a smile. A very nice breakfast but I did think the charge that some booking companies are quoting of £18 was a bit OTT, we booked with Expedia and it was included in the price, the room being very slightly more expensive to compensate, but not that much more. The hotel is really convenient for the two big squares, Burg & Markt being only about a 5 minute walk. See my other reviews for more info on what we did and where we ate
