The NH Brugge was our accommodation for 3 nights in the historical city of Brugge. Former monastery converted into a large hotel. Hotel and lobby was very welcoming The rooms were large but could do with a bit of updating, however they were clean and tidy and sufficient for our stay. The restaurant looked nice but with the wealth of restaurants to choose from within a short walk to the centre of the city we didn’t sample the hotels food. Location is pretty good for the train station its a 10-15 minute walk. The city centre is about 10 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and bars near the hotel but we avoided due to the major building works and renovations going on in the area. If you looking for a hotel that’s on the edge of the action this will more than do the trick. You are in an old and historical city so think it’s hard to fault this hotel but just fell short of a 4 star rating in my opinion.

My and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for our first trip abroad as a couple. The hotel was ideally located and was perfect to make daily trips to and from the tourist locations, such as the canal boat ride, the Belfry tower and numerous restaurants. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the king size bed was so comfortable! The hotel even had a small gym which was great for my boyfriend as he was able to work out every morning.

Stayed here for 2 night for business. Nice and friendly welcome at the reception. Large rooms but they need to be updated. You see that a lot of people already passed this hotel. Very small bathroom with a shower in the bath tub. People larger than 1m80 can not take a shower. AC is making a lot of noise.

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Excellent weekend break with a central location to most of the interesting tourist attractions. Wide veriety of food and drink available. Top quality service.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, good facilities great bathroom with a hot powerful shower and a comfy bed, I liked the bar it had a real open fire and it's location was ideal. Close to the center but still a quiet nights sleep. Would definitely come back again next time I visit Brugge.

Nice staff - we really felt welcome. Room was big and clean. Great atmosphere and convenient location between the city center and the railway station. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't say anything about that.

I had the worst night in all my trip to Europe in the NH Brugge. First of all the hotel didn’t respect our selection of one king bed so did my first complain and we moved 2 hours later to another room. We left the room and when we came back i decided to take a shouwer. The WC didn’t work so i have to fill a basket with water. ( i paid more than 80 € per night) without breakfast. After my shower 11PM i turned on the hairdresser and it literaly explote in my hand. I was really afraid and i called the reception. The girl came with a new hairdreser i conected and PUM again it exploted in my hand again. That is a confirmation that something with the power was not working propertly as they shoul do, and that NH didn’t make any manteinence in the room. Finally I was move to the 3 room in the same day. I was expecting to receive a breakfast or al least an apologize from someone of the NH Brugges. I don’t recomend this hotel to anybody in Brugges!

Good hotel, very close to the main sights and attractions in Bruges. the rooms are good, the beds are comfy. the only reason they don't get 5 stars is because of the terrible smell in some parts of the hotel. it's like you're in the sewer, they have several air refreshers, but they don't hide the smell.

We were upgraded to a superior room on the ground floor of the hotel overlooking the garden. It was fantastic! Huge beds, very clean, and lovely staff. We especially liked the bar, which was reasonably priced and a great cosy atmosphere!

We stayed for two nights in January, having arrived by train at Bruges station. The hotel is only about 12 minutes walk from the station, although pulling a wheeled suitcase along the cobbled streets was slightly tedious. First impressions were very positive; lovely lobby area and friendly reception staff. Room was of generous size and the double bed was huge; the bathroom was a little bit tired and the shower not very efficient; apart from that it was fine. Breakfast was wonderful with a huge choice of things to eat. Wifi strength was adequate. The hotel is conveniently located for all the main sights in Bruges and is about a ten minute walk from the Belfort. The hotel is a good option for anyone staying in Bruges although I can’t comment on the car parking situation.
