Good value at the price. Bed comfortable, staff pleasant and helpful, breakfast more than plentiful. Walking distance to the city centre but away from the crowds. But not the hotel for a romantic weekend away.
Can not fault this hotel for price and facilities. Very friendly and professional checkin staff. Room a good size and bed very comfortable. Spacious walk-in shower. My only gripe is plastic cups for the coffee. Free good strength WiFi.would stay again
Came away for a weekend with my Family. Lovely rooms and friendly staff but the star of the show was Sophie in the hotel bar. Exceptional service from Sophie, friendly, likeable, funny and made our stay a trip to remember! Please pass on our gratitude!
We had a brilliant stay, the room was clean, street facing and very comfortable. The only issue was on the last night the heating had been turned up when our room was being cleaned and we had been out at the time. When we went to bed it was boiling in the room, we turned it all the way down and tried to go to sleep but it was suffocating in the room ( may be tmi but my partners hair was soaked when he woke up in the middle of the night as if he had been in the shower) we opened the window but the room had got so warm that it took ages to cool down. It was a shame but every other night had been fine so it must just have been unfortunate. Fully recommend this hotel !!
close to the town centre, (5 minute walk). plenty to see and do in and around Brugge. there is an underground car park by the hotel, then most places in Brugge are within walking distance. try the canal trip and pony sightseeing trip. the hotel had excellent service with friendly and efficient personnel. the room was clean and in good repair.
This is your standard Novotel, but what makes it great is the location. Not smack in the center, but easily walkable to both the train station and the city center. It shares a patio with the ibis, and that patio has it offset from the busy street for a more quiet evening. Breakfast is too expensive at 20 EUR, but there is a Carrefour supermarket directly across the street where you can get your breakfast food for very reasonable prices.
We booked a last-minute weekend in Bruges in December. This wasn't the best idea as the prices were so expensive everywhere, but Novotel offered the cheapest prices and were open for very late check-ins, ideal as we arrived after midnight. Shame that their breakfast was quite pricey, but that's not really an issue in Bruges as there are so many cafes around. It's a short walk to wherever you want to go and on a nice, quiet street.
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Brugge. We arrived by car and there is an under ground car park (not owned by the hotel) next door which is very convenient and at only €8.00 for 24hrs very good value! The staff where very helpful and friendly. We stayed with our two young children and felt very welcome.
We went to Bruges for a couple of days. I chose this hotel on the internet and it was a very good choice. A very convenient location, close to the centre, all attractions, and the train station. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and very hospitable. The only thing to mention is that the restaurant for dining had a poor choice, we had to go to the Ibis hotel restaurant just in front of our hotel to have a good dinner. But our overall experience was excellent and we would definitely come back and recommend it.
Having enjoyed a new year stay in various hotels over the years in Brugge my husband and I decided to revisit the Novotel. We had a late ish check in due to a delay travelling but the gentleman on reception couldnt have been more helpful. Our room was nice clean and comfy. The shower was great. Our only niggle was a shortage of wardrobe space. The breakfast area was spacious and clean. A good choice of breakfast food was available and was replenished when required. Again staff were friendly and helpful and the tables were promptly cleared. Checkout was easy and we were ablevto access the left luggage room. The hotel is in a quieter area of Brugge. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Notovel and happily return again
