Well positioned hotel with well priced public parking underneath. Rooms modern and quiet will all the facilities you'd expect possibly with the exception of paper cups for the tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast usual Accor Fayre which is nowhere near as good as it used to be but keeps getting more expensive. Overall cost was a bit high but if you keep looking you may get a better deal. I don't think Accor will tell you.
Nice hotel, typical Nototel. Good location although not as central as others. It's a good 15 min walk to the main square but plenty of nice places to eat etc close by. Pros: parking is super cheap (€17 - 48hrs) right under the hotel. The breakfast is fantastic and well worth the price. Rooms are a reasonable size. Staff were very friendly. Cons: none really, it's a large chain hotel so pretty much exactly what you'd expect.
This hotel is located near to the centre of Bruges. It is an easy walk into the centre and within easy walking distance to all the sights of Bruges. It is a modern clean hotel. The public areas are clean tidy and modern. The staff on the desk are very helpful and are willing to help in any way. They will book restaurants give advice and help etc. It has access to a clean, secure well light underground car park. This has a lift which takes you to ground level then it is a thirty second walk to the hotel. Prices are reasonable for parking. The bedrooms are a reasonable size, clean, modern and basically equipped. The bathroom/shower room are beginning to show there age and in need of modernisation. There is an outside children's play area, swimming pool and seating. The breakfast choice is reasonable but this depends when you go down for breakfast. The staff are slow to refill when items run out at breakfast so it can be a bit hit and miss afare. In conclusion it's a pretty average to good place to stay and as it is part of a chain you know what you are getting and it's reasonable value for money I would go back and use it again.
The hotel is in a very good location and easy to walk everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised by the lobby area (more modern and luxurious than I was expecting), the buffet breakfast (lots of choice), the pool (was a little chilly though) and the children's facilities in the lobby area. The room was very clean - quite small for the four of us but it was fine. It didn't have a fabulous view but we weren't really in it much as we were out exploring Bruges. If you want an easy hotel that is family friendly with the added bonus of underground parking next door (extra) and a small pool to take a dip, it is perfect for a weekend break.
Excellent room. Large enough and comfortable for sitting as well as sleeping. Breakfast was excellent but a little expensive....plenty of choice to suit everyone. All the staff were extremely freindly and welcoming. Recommend online check-in as it reduces check in time and I also used Fast Check-out so that there was no delay when leaving either. Pleasant garden area when weather is fine. Seating and tables available. Also pool but too cold during our visit. Looked pleasant though. Location was good....20 mins walk to Markt Square and plenty to see on the way. Parking right next door and not too expensive. eur 8.75 per 24 hours
I was impressed by the lobby area but sorely disappointed by the rooms and the hallways. The carpets are worn and dingy and the room has few amenities. Additionally, the walls are very thin and the rooms in general are noisy. The cleaning staff was very friendly, however, as were a few of the front-desk attendants. However, as we checked out, we weren't asked about our stay. Furthermore, the price of 20 Euro for breakfast is way too expensive for what you get! When we return to Brugge, we won't stay here.
If you want a hotel room in the centre of Bruges the price you pay determines the size if the room. Having stayed in a number of hotels here over the years the Novotel hits the target, decent sized rooms at good prices. The staff were really friendly and helpful esp. in the bar at night. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had 2 good nights' sleep. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. There is an underground car park next door.
My girlfriend and I visited the hotel on the 20th of april. Check in went by quick and friendly and in a short amount of time we got all the information we needed. Came up to the room, which was standard but very clean. Since we had been travelling around for quite a bit, decided to have a quick stroll around bruges and to have an early night in. Beds were comfy and the room was quieter than expected. But then for the breakfast the next day.... we arrived at the 'breakfast check-in' and had to wait for someone to sign us in. One of the staff members passed us by but clearly didn't mind us waiting around. Luckily the blond girl was friendly enough to drop everything she was doing, wished us a goodmorning, signed us in and showed us to one of the scarce free tables at that time. The breakfast was extensive and had a good variety of different, healthy options. So we don't have anything bad to say about that. However...we were surrounded by dirty tables, not really the surrounding you wish for on a romantic getaway! The blonde girl who helped us out earlier seemed the only one running around to get the tables cleared, whilst juggling to keep the buffet filled at all times. We were stunned to see that the man, who ignored us earlier, clearly found it more interesting to have an elaborate conversation than to help out! According to the blazer he was wearing, we assumed he was higher ranked (???), which doesn't have to mean he can laze around on busy times like that. Guidance from the management is clearly missing and there's clearly a big lack of staff. However we enjoyed everything that was on offer on the buffet and proceeded to check-out. Just as quick and efficient as our check-in! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. The location of the hotel is great, (most) staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean.
This excellent hotel is situated in the heart of Brugge one of the most beautiful city in Europe. We came there since I am writing a book about the Emperor Charles Quint whose Burgundian ancestors are buried in Notre Dame cathedral. It was not my first stay in the this city but twenty years of studies help me to understand better the history of the Emperor and to appeciate better the qualities of the hotel
We booked here for the 2nd time. Price ist acceptable and very friendly staff. The bar lady was really nice when we had our late night drinks at the hotel bar. Parking available. We walked to the restaurants, shopping ist also nearby.
