The Hotel was minutes from the centre of this amazing city. A lovely hotel decorated to a really high standard. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were really helpful and very polite. Exactly what we wanted great room with air conditioning and a TV wifi and a fridge. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break, we stayed a week in June 2017 and had fantastic weather which allowed us to do all our exploring on foot with lots of stops for ice cream waffles and the odd beer at the half moon brewery.
Had a wonderful trip to Bruges made even better by this fantastic hotel. The breakfast was memorable. I cannot wait to go back. Bruges is so easy to navigate with excellent restaurant. The historic sites are well worth a visit. The one disappointing feature was the single supplement. One of our party is a widow and it meant that she was paying almost the same as a couple
Fabulous modern hotel, superb room, excellent breakfast buffet and very welcoming and friendly staff. Good location within ten minutes of main square where there is a large choice of restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Nice Hotel very central in Bruges - employees are welcoming with efficient check in and check out Hotel rooms have been refurbished recently Breakfast is also great with a large choice of quality food
Super room 44 and our friends were in 24, we were at the back of the hotel, very quiet and roof top view with great skyline, sunset and sunrise. Loved the wet room and high toilets. Very clean and comfortable. Two large singe beds with superb matresses and linen. Breakfast time was very quiet. Hotel should consider some soft music for a bit of atmosphere as there are no windows in this room. Lots to choose from, cereals, nuts, fruit, yoghurts. Lots of breads, preserves, cold meats and salmon, cheeses and more fruit. Hot buffet was scrambled eggs, boiled at 4 mins and hard boiled, bacon and sausages. could have been a little hotter for us but still enjoyable. toaster was available. lots of lovely tea and coffee and good choice of juices and ice water. Receptionist was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Sharon who was on the night shift was very professional and a credit to this company. We had a late night drink and coffee in the bar each night which rounded off our lovely days enjoying this great city. Underground public car park was very reasonable about 8 euros a day and a few yards walk to the lift just outside the hotel. Fortunately the weather was fabulous so the canal trip was a must. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and bars. The square is being repaved outisde the hotel and should be finished soon, which will make the seating area outside lovely in the sunshine. Would recommend this hotel to all ages.
Great hotel 10 mins walk from bruges railway station. Lovely rooms very modern and comfortable. Easy walk to anywhere 5 mins to the main square. Very friendly staff and good value for money. I would recommend this hotel. Some good bars next door and of course good beer. When the square is completed opposite it will be superb. They are upgrading it now so can be slightly noisy.
great hotel 5 minutes walk to main square , lots of restaurants & bars close by , 10 minute walk to main train station , the hotel is very modern the rooms very well equipped and the staff very helpful , they booked taxis and restaurants for us without any fuss there is a small bar area and a glass covered restaurant looking out onto a square.
10 minutes away from train station and 5 minutes from the market. They gave me a voucher for a free waffle and hot beverage at the downstairs cafe. Cafe had good food at reasonable price. Room is clean and modern. The only thing to be aware of is lack of privacy between bedroom and bathroom. Not a problem for couples but might be uncomfortable if sharing a room with friends. Ongoing construction at the square in front of hotel. Not an issue sleeping.
Breakfast was good. The rooms were quite comfortable and roomy, however some of the furniture needed dusting (chair leg bars). Obvious to me as I had a baby crawling about. There were no phones in the rooms although there was a sign giving the reception number. We had to walk downstairs whenever we needed anything. We weren't given the wifi password during check-in and so had to walk down to reception for it. Also they forgot the baby cot so another trek to reception. When we checked in, there was no offer to help with our bags seeing that I was travelling with a baby and 2 elderly parents. Our stay was all right in general but I don't think it was worth the price. I think the reception staff could be more helpful. When I asked if there were any markets around, I was given a brochure showing events in Bruges (i.e. concerts and shows)... not ideal especially when there was a market on the Saturday morning just opposite the hotel which we missed as we were leaving that morning. The hotel is located about a 10 min walk to the main square. Although it is possible to walk to the hotel from the train station, we took a taxi as we had a bit of luggage.
Lovely hotel in a good central location. Not far from station and main central square. Good size room which was nicely decorated. The bathroom was a bit strange with a glass partition wall from the room and no door. There was a blind that could be pulled down to block the view from the room but when using the toilet it was a bit awkward with a friend. Plenty to see and do nearby with some lovely buildings and waterways. The rubes museum in the main square is well worth a visit.
