Mohegan Sun Pocono

A nice place to visit

We loved this hotel, but there is one thing that I didn't like. The smoking on the gaming floor permeates through the hotel. Even the elevators smelled vaguely of smoke. I would stay here again and would enjoy it as well, but as an ex-smoker, it did give me a bit of an issue.

Quality Inn East Stroudsburg - Poconos

Good deal for the price

We were looking for a convenient, affordable place to stay in the area. The hotel was right off the highway and convenient to places we were going shopping and to a movie. The room is not large, but fine for 2 people. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 nice chairs, a good sized frig and microwave, and it was clean and quiet. There was absolutely no smoking odor in our room or hallway although there are some smoking rooms available in other parts of the hotel. We slept very well and then we had a nice breakfast in the breakfast room - including some options that my husband could eat (he needs gluten free). The coffee was quite good. Daphne - the very attentive breakfast hostess - told me she grinds the beans! She also keeps the food well stocked and the dining room clean.
