Congenial host. Older property, but room showed upgrades and was well appointed. Wall furnace was noisy (as are most) and a few strays hairs in the shower stall, otherwise, clean. Decent mattress.

From the moment staff greeted us for check-in we were impressed. The room was clean beyond our expectations, and everything we might have needed during our stay was provided. In our haste to prepare for this surprise trip we had actually forgotten a toothbrush, and there was one in the bathroom provided by the host. We cannot say enough about how pleased we were to have chosen the Starlight for our stay.

Exceptional stay at the Starlight Motel. The owner Pravin is wonderful - friendly and attentive to your needs. The room was spotlessly clean, and well appointed. Will surely stay here again in my future travels to the Eastern Sierra!

The room was great for Thanksgiving, the staff was prompt and friendly. Big Pine is not a large town but there are a few things nearby that make it worth a few days to explore. The room was clean the A/C worked great, 44 degrees outside and 73 in my room. The manager had a nice gift once I was checked in, and the coffee maker (full size) worked great. If you can watch the sunrise, it's better than TV (facing west, trust me). Thank you for a pleasant holiday with my family nearby.

This is a small roadside motel with exceptionally friendly manager, we were greeted with bottled water and a fruit and cookie basket. The room was comfortable with attractive modern decor.

We had a utility trailer with us and the staff were so accommodating to find us a place to park both the truck and trailer. The staff was extremely accommodating. The rooms were extremely clean. Very comfortable. Had a wonderful stay. We will definitely stay there again

The gentleman at check in was welcoming, friendly. He put a smile on our face. Banana, apple, and a cookie were nice touch. The room was clean. Nice fluffy towels. The only downside is that the bathroom is tiny and tight. Would however stay here again if we visit the area again.

The Starlight Motel lived up to its excellent ratings. The room was basic, clean and had all the amenities you expect. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator. The only thing the Motel does not provide is a complementary breakfast. But that did not deter us from booking. If you're in the area, definitely stay.
