Proximity to UAB Hospital. Nearby restaurants and close in parking.

My son was in UAB Hospital for an entire week. A very stressful time . The staff at the hotel was accommodating, kind and professional. Kudos to the whole team!

Everything was clean and easy check in...late checkout also

Ground parking is for guests only but most of the cars are not guests. Each paarking spot is labeled for guests only. I suggest towing cars that aren't involved with the hotel.

I had a few issues at the parking garage. Gates didnt work, validated parking ticket did not work, expensive.

One of the nicest staffs I have ever had at any hotel. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to be sure our stay was the best possible!

Very friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel. Close to many restaurants and attractions . Hotel cafe is excellent . Only complaint is that it's a bit pricey for what you are getting, but convenience is everything when it comes to a hotel in a bigger city. Birmingham is a wonderful city and we will visit again. I do t know why this thing wants me to put so much

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times for conferences and hospital visits. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Yes. They met all requirements except I wanted late check out put they said 11am they could give me. So I just took my luggage with me and change my clothes at airport

I used this hotel because of its closeness to UAB hospital. Upon checking in I asked if they had a dining room. I was told that the dining area was open from 5-10 p.m. However, there wasn't a dining area, just a bar. Distinction need to be made between dining and bar. If you say dining, then I expect some kind of food. The room was clean but it smelled like bleach. Even the bed covers had a scent of bleach.

This hotel was conveniently located to many area attractions. My family came to Birmingham for the Marshall/UAB football game. Legion Field was only a two miles from the hotel. We also took in the 16th Street Babtist Church which was only minutes away. But the best feature was the size of the rooms. They were over 200 sq/ft with a very large bathroom. I would definitely recommend it and if I return to Birmingham I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Staff seemed disconnected and not really on top of things. Desk was dusty and bathroom was not cleaned well at all.

No problems, appreciated the location near the VA Hospital.

This hotel was so nice and comfortable. We wanted a hotel that was close to the Interstate to Atlanta and this one was perfect.

It was good. The service was. I really enjoyed mysef.

Nice hotel. Only thing is they charge you $10 a day for parking.

I was there for the National Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships and arrived via Amtrak, a short walk to the Courtyard. The staff were great, assisting me in getting transportation to the airport for my rental, and in general, providing me with a ton of information about the area as it was my first visit to Birmingham. The availability of a computer for me to file race stories to my area newspapers in New England were a plus. The hotel is in a great spot where there are a number of eateries within walking distance. Spacious rooms, huge TV's, and, again, a staff who were sincere and genuine!

Hotel was nice othen then some noise from the hospital located next door.
