My husband and I spent one night away and the room was adults only and was beautiful. Great comfy king size bed and bathroom was super clean and huge. The front desk was helpful and professional and the cont. breakfast was amazing. Def will visit again.
The bathroom in our room was the largest and nicest in any place I have ever stayed. A beautiful soaker tub, very large step in shower and double vanity, and separate room for the commode, with room left over to twirl. The Inn provides a great breakfast buffet in the morning with made to order omelets and in the afternoon there is fresh homemade soup for a snack. A very welcoming and helpful staff made this a rewarding stay.
We have been coming here for years and although appearances have changed the level of excellent accommodations are the same. Little advice: when booking your room ask for the "farm view" and then you will have a great view across the Amish farms and not the view of the parking lot. The other recommendation is to upgrade and add the add on for $34 for full buffet at Millers: great value. Also the complimentary shopping add on is free. Now the room hasn't changed: very clean and comfortable. The pool and huge hot tub is very nice. The breakfast area changed: omelet and waffles for free in addition to other hot items. Expansive breakfast and the best is the time: from 630am-1030am and all food items still available and are replenished throughout the morning. Staff is very nice. Wonderful stay: it is unfortunate that the hotel rates have gotten so expensive. We stayed when you could book 10 nights and get a free night: no longer. There are other places that offer the same thing that are less expensive. You won't be disappointed in your stay at Amish View.
First time staying at this Inn and it will not be the last. Cannot think of any negative comments. We have stayed in many different places in Lancaster area but this was by far the best experience we have had.
My husband and I stayed 1 night for a mini-birthday get away weekend, we stayed in the Grand King Adults Only wing. The room was fabulous! Beautiful furnishings, and gorgeous bathroom fit for a king (and queen), Large claw foot bathtub big enough for two, lie back, relax and watch a movie, large walk in shower, etc., Room also had a microwave, fridge and large picture window overlooking the beautiful countryside. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was fabulous, cooked to order eggs, etc., best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. We cannot wait to come back, this will definitely be my "go to" hotel in the future, also would make a great gift for our married children for a little get away time away together. 5 Stars is not even high enough for how I would rate the stay!!!***************
My husband and I were 100% satisfied with the facilities - the room was well furnished and clean and we absolutely loved the bathroom! Large walk in shower with bench, separate water closet, double vanity, and large claw foot tub with a TV above it! The bath toiletries were top notch and smelled great and the Astor chocolates on the night stand were a nice touch. We liked how coffee/tea/hot chocolate was always available in the great room, and they even had soup in the afternoon that you could help yourself to. My husband would have liked if cookies were also offered in the afternoon/evening along with the soup, but we were happy regardless. If we decide to stay overnight in Lancaster again, this is definitely our top choice!
My wife and I stayed one night in the Grand King rooms and what a wonderful stay we had. The room was large and very clean. The whole staff was friendly and polite, that means a lot. The buffet breakfast was to die for. If anyone is planning a getaway, this is definitely your place. My wife and I visit Lancaster PA a few times a year and always try a different place to stay. After staying at AmishView that will not be happening again. This is our new and only place to stay.
My husband and I only stayed one night (our mini getaway from our children) and we both definitely enjoyed our visit. An additional 'Adults Only' building has been added to the property since our last stay several years ago. We took advantage and stayed in one of these rooms and WOW...what a beautiful room with every amenity possible and an incredible view! As my husband was fascinated by the 60 inch tv, the bathroom with its clawfoot tub and heat lamp kept me impressed. They continue to serve a complete breakfast in the morning-I continue to be amazed by its offerings! I love the ambiance, the views, the cleanliness (a top priority for me) and the courteous staff who are not only accommodating, but efficient as well. Thanks Morgan :) We look forward to our next visit here as a couple or a family.
We were back for another wonderful President's Weekend at the Amish View Inn & Suites and were thrilled with our Grand King room in the adults only section of the property. Our room was on the fifth (top) floor and featured a lovely view of the farm behind the hotel and the rolling hills beyond. The ledge below the window was just about wide enough for a window seat and I spent a good deal of time each morning sipping coffee and watching for Amish buggies as they went by. The bed was big and comfortable, the flat screen tv was enormous and the room was large enough to easily accommodate a three-cushion sofa, easy chair, desk, large dresser, two night tables and had a spacious clothes closet and wet bar/fridge behind louvered doors. The bathroom was big enough to throw a party and had not only the nicest glass-doored walk-in shower I've ever used, but also an oversized claw foot tub that was big enough for two. A double sink vanity with plenty of space and a toilet behind another door rounded out the facilities. The complimentary Tarocco soaps, shampoo and moisterizer were so nice that we purchased some to take home and enjoy until our next visit. As always, the complimentary breakfast was enough to keep us going right until dinner. Made to order omelette and waffles, chafing dishes full of eggs, bacon, local sausage, baked oatmeal and sticky buns were staples as well as breads and bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee. Yikes! Who needs an Amish smorgasbord when you can have all that for breakfast?!? The staff is pleasant and helpful across the board and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to spend our holiday weekend. We'll definitely be back and will book another Grand King room for certain. Priced between $202 and $234 during our holiday weekend stay, it's a great deal.
