Amish View Inn and Suites

We were back for another wonderful President's Weekend at the Amish View Inn & Suites and were thrilled with our Grand King room in the adults only section of the property. Our room was on the fifth (top) floor and featured a lovely view of the farm behind the hotel and the rolling hills beyond. The ledge below the window was just about wide enough for a window seat and I spent a good deal of time each morning sipping coffee and watching for Amish buggies as they went by. The bed was big and comfortable, the flat screen tv was enormous and the room was large enough to easily accommodate a three-cushion sofa, easy chair, desk, large dresser, two night tables and had a spacious clothes closet and wet bar/fridge behind louvered doors. The bathroom was big enough to throw a party and had not only the nicest glass-doored walk-in shower I've ever used, but also an oversized claw foot tub that was big enough for two. A double sink vanity with plenty of space and a toilet behind another door rounded out the facilities. The complimentary Tarocco soaps, shampoo and moisterizer were so nice that we purchased some to take home and enjoy until our next visit. As always, the complimentary breakfast was enough to keep us going right until dinner. Made to order omelette and waffles, chafing dishes full of eggs, bacon, local sausage, baked oatmeal and sticky buns were staples as well as breads and bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee. Yikes! Who needs an Amish smorgasbord when you can have all that for breakfast?!? The staff is pleasant and helpful across the board and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to spend our holiday weekend. We'll definitely be back and will book another Grand King room for certain. Priced between $202 and $234 during our holiday weekend stay, it's a great deal.

We've stayed here many times in the past, and I just realized (February) that I neglected to finish my NYE review. Fun time for all, with the comfort and style of Amish View Inn. From the accommodations to the breakfasts, you won't be disappointed.

Been checking their site for a while and their reservation system is always "temporarily unavailable". So I call to get information for an extended family getaway this summer. After going round and round in their phone system a few times, I leave a message requesting a call back. Just wondering how many DAYS it should take to get a call back? Interesting way to treat customers.

This is a beautiful family restaurant with lovely comfortable rooms courteous staff and a wonderful breakfast. I has a great indoor pool along with other good amenities . The mattresses are plush and comfortable and parking is convenient. Great for families or couples for romantic get away.

Couldn't believe how comfortable our stay was. We booked just one night and as it turned out we stayed another. Excellent accommodations, very clean, quite, great breakfast. This will be our go to when staying in Lancaster County. Thank you AmishView for a great weekend.

Totally a great place to stay. Great room... Clean and nice with a great kitchen and a spacious living room. The breakfast is amazing! The staff is great. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Truly a wonderful stay.

Had a couple of nights here and really enjoyed it. Lovely hotel, with easy parking right next to the Amish Experience. Large and immaculately decorated rooms with traditional looking wooden furniture. Our room looked out on the fields behind the hotel and we could see a little Amish school – we sat and watched all the buggys driving along the roads to drop the children off. Breakfast was served in a light and airy large room and was very nice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

beautiful room very clean .The decor is all high end, yet you still feel like you are in Amish country with a touch of that country charm. staff were super friendly. close by to all the attraction great mini gateway for couples.beautiful bathroom worth every penny. will def stay again.

Further to an earlier review, we have stayed several more times both alone and with our grand kids and daughters. In every respect, the excellent accommodations, service, hospitality, breakfast offerings and other amenities are simply the best available in the Lancaster area! We have booked several more stays in advance of get-away weekend / shopping, concerts and shows at the nearby American Music Theater, the upcoming Bird In Hand Carriage Sale and auction as well as the 2017 AMT Christmas Show to which we treat all of the grand kids and family (tradition in its' third year)! The Amish View Inn continues to seek ways to improve its' service and standing as the #1 area hotel. The Front Desk, Housekeeping and Kitchen staffs are without exception friendly, outstanding and have a genuine interest in making guests feel welcome and appreciated. Recently, Ben, one of the long-term front service team members was promoted to Guest Services Manager. Over time we have come to know and appreciate Ben's special talent to always make our stays exceptional experiences. Ben's promotion is well-deserved and hopefully a path to a greater management role at the Inn. Keep up the great work and dedication to constantly improve guest experiences! We'll be back soon.
