Check in was bad. No Wi-Fi
Decent enough place all except there was literally no body to help at all. No one on premise. Nobody to contact for more coffee for the room or anything else. I literally sat on the bench out front and had several people drive by and ask if anyone ever it there and what we thought of the place. I told them I won't be back. Nobody cares enough to be on site? Tells me all I need to know.
Beds all concaved in the middle. We had a 3 bed room and with 2 people in a bed we kept rolling into the middle. Before we checked out, house keeping walked in without knocking. The tv was broken, outside of that it was an okay stay.
Air Conditioner was very noisy and very slow. We could now sleep whole night. Bath room light bulb was fused. We had to use our cell phone torch. Out side smell was very bad. No customer service was open at all. We had to wait there and kept calling, some one picked up phone after long time. Over all I will rate this property F grade. I will request you if you can refund our money because this is the first time I have that bad hotel.
Love the view, the quiet environment and the closeness to Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. We have been coming here with friends for several years now and look forward to our fall getaway all year long! The hotel is clean, not many amenities but always comfortable. We will keep coming back!
Beautiful countryside.
Do not recommend this place at all.
My kiddos wished for a pool. Enjoyed having three beds for all of us! Hard to find rooms for 5-6 people.
A beautiful setting, clean and quaint. Breakfast was lacking, especially since there is no food service near. I thought there would be some nice pastries from the Amish bakeries.
the property is in the middle of Amish farm land and the view is fantastic. We can watch horse drawn carriages passing by during the day and in the evening.
Staff courteous, room clean ----Room way too small for a king-sized bed; Only one chair, one luggage rack (used ironing board for a luggage rack); "breakfast" was bagel, cream cheese and Nutella, plus coffee --one morning (of 3) there was yogurt, one morning juice, one morning a waffle --but there was NO PLACE to SIT, any consumables were eaten while standing among people checking out (10X10 area) or other people trying to get food, or take whatever you could carry back to your room (with one chair). Better to not advertise ANY breakfast, so what they offered would seem like a bonus --for 100 bucks a night!
The peace and quiet of the property puts them in a class above every other hotel around.
Pros: Location! We were attending a party at the onsite facility, so the convenience of literally walking across the way was wonderful. It was very quiet and peaceful. Check-in was smooth and quick. Places to eat, shop and sightsee were all in close proximity. Cons: The beds were really uncomfortable - sagging to the center, noisy springs with any movement. We had 2 rooms for our family and all 3 bed mattresses were in need of replacing. Needless to say, none of us got much sleep. (not to mention the noise from the birds that must have a nest on the heater/ac unit in room 16) The water does not run hot. The best we got in the shower was somewhat warm, but not even consistently warm. In our second room, the coffee pot was not clean, still having grinds left at the bottom of the pot from the previous users. Being so close to the party was our reason for staying at this location. But we should have also been able to get a good night's rest and a hot shower.
