Needs better cleaning.... roach in refrigerator... clean bedding

Despite numerous signs on the doors and inside, not a single employee wore a mask. The fitness center was closed “due to COVID” and breakfast wasn’t served at all, “due to COVID.” Now, all fitness centers are open and other hotels serve a grab & go type breakfast. These two policies were based on laziness. The whole facility is trashy. The sink handle in my room was broken and the air reeked of marijuana. The furniture needed to shampooed, badly. It was noisy, being located next to Big Play, where employees constantly blow whistles at the go kart drivers. The only reason I stayed was lack of vacancy anywhere else and I needed a place to stop for the evening.

Nasty and people park wherever they want. Hotel does not hold anyone accountable

I can not say enough to justify how awful this hotel was. The customer service was terrible, the pool was filthy, the rooms were disgusting. If we hadn’t already prepaid via orbitz, we would have left immediately. We had two rooms and they were both dirty. One room had toenail clippings all over the floor. The chairs were badly stained and filthy, the locks and deadbolt were broken, the floors were so dirty when my baby crawled, her feet and knees were black. The towels still had dirt on them from previous guest and the sinks were dirty. I’m super disappointed because we have never had such a poor experience at Super 8. We are very upset about the price we paid for a nasty hotel. So glad we only needed it for one night.

It was obvious upon our arrival that the customer is not to ask questions, but to take was is given. Our "assigned" room had several items broken, but most importantly the air conditioning had a very low blower mode making it difficult to keep the room comfortable. The beach is not accessible from this Motel as advertised . There is a Katrina debris field across the street. Carpet is very old and lobby and rooms have a musty smell. This room is probably used for Orbitz bookers! It' was also obvious by the attitude of the staff that they are doing what they can with little to work with. Spend the extra money, which I will next time., and stay at a nicer place.

I loved that this property was so close to the beach and conveniently located to the sights around the city, however there were a host of problems. Their internet did not work the entire time my friends and I were there. I was told that is may have been my computer, but we had multiple devices trying to connect of many different makes (Dell, Apple, Toshiba, etc.) but nothing would work. We were told over and over again it must be our equipment. The manager could connect, but shockingly it was to his own hotspot and not to their internet. At around 2am on our last night, I was awoken by a strange woman asking to come in so we could "hang out." She was quite belligerent and would not take no for an answer. Lastly, the room smelled a bit smokey even though it was a non smoking room. We ran the AC on high to try to get the smell out but it only marginally worked. The property was nice. If they could fix these problems, I would consider staying there again, since it is such a bargain for the location, but these problems must be addressed.

Surprisingly great everything. Very fast check in. Comfortable bed

We loved the location that's why I booked but when we drive around back to park I knew I made a mistake. The grounds in the back were not any hotel quality. When we I open the door to the room I could have cried. The room was clean but very old. The chair was so stained that I would not sit in it. I went to the local store and brought Lysol to spray to the bed and surrounding. There was a space under the door that I just knew something was going to come crawling in.

Poor service loud guests and management that will not help out.

We were very dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel. The room was not clean and we had to kill about a dozen or more insects. The bedspread was stained and some of the pillows had a bad odor. It was the furthest room from the lobby and the wifi signal didn't reach us. The nearest ice machine was out of order. The breakfast was meager.

The photos online looked pretty good but when I got there I found an older, outdated hotel. I didn't want to stay but I booked this hotel on line last minute and would have lost my money. The rooms were clean but just old. Beds were hard, internet didn't work, and the ice machine didn't work. Can't believe I paid $140 plus tax for my room. It should have been half that amount at the most. With this being a Wyndham hotel, I expected much better and was just disappointed.

I will not stay there no more room are too much and its not clean

Where do I begin? The hotel was massive but seems like a halfway house. At the counter was a sign that said we are not Dog friendly however there were big dogs everywhere. It was the kind of place where people sit on lawn chairs outside their room and talk for hours. Speaking of the room. Hard to tell if it was clean or not. Maybe a total of 100watts of illumination spread across the lights that were working. It came with free internet but it never worked. Called several times, but they said the router was just reset. Longest reset I've heard of. Bathroom's 25 watt florescent light didn't allow you to see the dirt. Sort of smelled like urine. AC knobs didn't work we were stuck with the temp they broke at. The top sheet was really a bottom sheet and had the fitted edges. There was not comforter but the office said it was the thing on top. When I laid on it I started itching all over! who knows what was on there before me! None of the outlets worked but the one by the sink. The rest flopped around and could not make a connection. Lastly, the free breakfast was waffles, toast, and cereal. Some packaged sugary apple things and watery juice. Not really a place I would ever even consider again.

I submitted 2 reviews. This is the third. I will NEVER use ORBITZ again!!! This review is for ORBITZ, nor the hotel.
